That's what I was about to post. This is the best option if you are talking about those Blue Blood programs getting to play in AA if there are 3 classes.
Just move it back to A and AA. If we have 3 classes and you think Ensworth or BA should move into AA to win a gold ball, you are part of the problem.
I don't know what the solution is, but I have no problem with BA and Ensworth playing where their enrollment figures land. Under a A and AA system, they both would play in AA. If the split is at 400, you would have 31 in A and 18 in AA, going off the 2023-2025 enrollment #'s. With Boog's ND team walking a thin line with enrollment of 392.

Alrighty folks and ladies; it’s now here. Who’s in and who’s out?
Which D2-AA Private Educatin Institutions that have been fudgin their numbers right around the 530 cutoff are lobbyin this morning and complainin that they have unfairly been tossed out of D2-AA and into the new D2-AAA classification…
….it appears the Nashville, Presbyterians, The StElmo Sword of Joshua Full Gospel Independent Pentecostal hattanooga Christian Assembly , the Haslam Pilot Petroleum Webb School of Knoxville are going to be contestin them some Dll-aaa fb for Gold Balls…
…specially with BA and Ensworth considerin the option to move down to Dll-aa to challenge them CoCer’s over at the Boyd North brained levee swamp
Booger just sayin
You think those 3 fly the jet south for another secret meeting at the Pink Pony Club and weasel their way out again….?

Question..... why should the TSSAA drop the punishment, as some folks have said?

Was hoping they may pick up a good defensive coach that is available but what do I know about football only been a season ticket holder of the winningest program in the State of Tennessee for all my life besides the ones I played there. If your defense is bad you'll be in for a rough ride
We’ll be fine Barn. Excited to see these two trade in the Florida Gators colors for the Silver and Blue!

The toughest AA region is in the middle. CPA, Davidson, FRA and Lipscomb will be back after next year. Not even close.
Without a doubt. Light years ahead of the East and West.

Coaches love to not play the kids that can help them win. Good take.
Watch the film. The kid sat on the bench. Best player on the team, and I’m not a parent, a relative and I don’t know the kid. Good take, bud. Like I said, go carry his flag on the Fulton page.

Not likely. Which games that you lost do you think you should have won? Lakeway- maybe. Silverdale maybe. 5-5 was the ceiling. 5-5 will be the ceiling in 2024 as well. I have a feeling that won’t make you happy. Talent level awareness should be addressed quickly it seems.
Sounds like you’re one of the assistants that’s on his way out the door with your talent assessment. I would counter with the fact that the best athlete on the team played less than 25% of the snaps. I’d say that’s on the HC not recognizing or comprehending his talent. Before you start, no, I’m not a players Dad anymore. But, that Freshman should’ve played every down until he had to come out on his own. I promise you he’ll get his full workload next year.

At the end of the day, grace needs to recruit the 3 to 4 players that are difference makers to get where they want to go. Those types of players are not walking the halls at Grace. You develop what you have, and strive to find those players. Everyone in D2 is looking for those kids. They may get to 5 wins but they better stay healthy.
We’ll be fine. Rusty could coach and he won with the kids walking the halls at GCA. I believe our new HC and his DC are better coaches than Rusty. Minimum 5 wins next year. I’d say they pull out another W to go 6-4 regular season. I agree with you on staying healthy. Small schools can’t afford injuries. And your comment about 3-4 difference makers, agree also. You must be a small school guy, good opinion. I would also say that we have 3-4 difference makers already there.

Sounds like another stab at the last coach. “Develop players” is not the same as turn unathletic people into athletic football players. No one can do that. You don’t see CC with many winning seasons fyi.
Last coach won 8 games in 3 years, which was the worst 3 year stretch in program history since we started our program. And your statement about our players being unathletic tells me that you know nothing about what we have on campus. Go over to the Fulton board and carry his flag for him. Time to start winning again at Grace. It will start this year.

At the end of the day, this is totally on the administration at Oakdale.
Unconfirmed dialogue overheard between Oakdale game administrator and Deputy Sheriff:
Admin: that ole boy is really letting Clyde’s boy have it tonight
Fife: yep, somebody ought to get ahold of him
Admin: uh oh, Barney, look here! There goes Clyde walkin over there. He’ll shut him up!
Fife: yep, I’d say ole Clyde will dot those eyes if he don’t hush up!
Moments later, all heck breaks loose while the two stooges stand in the corner with their popcorn.
I agree with you. This should’ve been taken care of before it got to the boiling point.

The price twins will have to win within a 4 year period (not a state championship but at least a semi final appearance). No way will GRACE spend that kind of money without playoff success. I know 5A football is tough but D2 double A is a different animal. Grace must attract talent to their program. I wish them luck because they are great people and coaches but this rebuild will be a major challenge for them.
Great hire. I don’t think they have to take us to the semi-finals or else. I think they’re expected to win and that’s something that’s been made clear since the new head of school came in. Look at the basketball program and the change that was made there. This isn’t UpWard sports. Those teams meet Saturday mornings in the gym. We had a basketball and football coach that didn’t understand that. You play to Win, Winning brings in more talent. Simple process.
BTW, the Price brothers will win a minimum of 5 games next year. I wouldn’t call it a rebuild. The talent is on campus. Winning 5 games will be more in a season since 2020…

Good hire for Grace!
I agree. Great guys that know how to coach. I talked to a friend that coached for them at CC for 3 years. He said they know how to develop players. That’s something we’ve been missing. Looking forward to August. Hope you guys get something straightened out down there too.

Well apparently you know more than I do. I would not think you win a Gold ball than turn around and go to Grace in a heartbeat. Where You help build a winning atmosphere where the crowds of fans are some of the best. You have one of the best weight rooms in the area; good alumni and support. (And what take the fireworks with you,) Drop everything and start all over again. Just doesn't even make common sense. But I guess you know more than I do based on those points.
Apparently, I do know….

Oh that was not an option to even consider. If he really wanted he could be assisting a New Year's Bowl with Jamie and brother. No doubt he will be attending the Liberty game
The first sentence is a false statement. I don’t mind you filling the board with your falsehoods unless they involve stuff I know to be true. It was DEFINITELY an option, and AC dodged a bullet to the program.

Watch out, they will run out on you when things get hard or turn bad. They did it to Campbell Co when they were in HS. Then CCo takes them back to run the program and when things got hard and turned bad they ran out on CCo again.
You’re saying they ran out on Campbell County, as Coach’s? They spent 13 years there becoming the winningest Coaches in school history. I understand that you might feel bad and upset that they’re leaving. I completely understand those feelings. But don’t say they ran out on CC as coaches, that’s an absurd statement. 13 years of service.

Kids can’t transfer to a school that their coach changes to in the first year unless their family member is that coach, unless they changed that rule.
If they have a residence change more than 25 miles from their original residence, the player will be eligible. Campbell County is more than 25 miles from Karns.

Justin and Matt are very good men and will take Grace back where we belong, winning! Great hire and the Brighter Days are now here! Welcome, Price Brothers!
-
They’re both very good men. Grace would be better with them, if they’re talking with our administration. I told all of you Grace bashers, that this administration and our Pastor are competitive and they want to WIN. We’ll see how it all plays out. Brighter Days are ahead for Grace.

I missed it; have heard anything about it on my end.
You know exactly what he’s talking about and the player that was involved. My opinion is that kids make mistakes and that’s why they’re kids. He seems to be doing well and I’m sure he learned from his actions. Good luck in ‘24, you’ve got a solid Man leading the way.

You still live at home with mommy in the basement while drinking your Bud Light. You get on here acting all important when in reality you're a bigger joke than Grace Football. Do you understand that???
I don't think anything has been a bigger joke than Grace Football the past 3 seasons. We had the kids, just didn't have the right person running things.
