Keep rolling Big Greene! One day all the county schools will be thankful that teams like the 2009-2011 Devils have opened the door for not just Greene County but all of East Tennessee to be in the spotlight. They have brought state recognition to our region for a change. These powerful teams do not last forever Greene county. We should support each other. Remember it was decades before we had anything that really stood out athletically besides SGHS basketball in the 80s/90s. Despite all the comments about "money" and lack of respect, I think this game will be close for the first half. WGHS will grow from this game and will learn what they need to do defensively to help them farther in their respected playoff bracket. My 2 cents.

Where were the Alcoa fans? I thought Burley would be packed. Half of the visitor side was Greeneville people. I guess after reading the hype I was expecting more. The Science Hill/GHS game had a bigger turnout...
