  1. Nance (linebacker) last two games for were awesome.
  2. Marshall County HS kicker may not be in top rankings but deserves to be mentioned because he is a freshman with these numbers... 20 KO's with 9 TB, with a long of 65yds ..... 6 for 6 on FG with long of 42yds... PAT's 8 of 9.... Punts with Avg. of 36yds and a long of 56yds.
  3. Marshall had 13 penalties for over 100 yds. Offense came to life with 272 yds passing and over 100 yds rushing. The defense has found its identity and its no secret I'm fond of the kicker as well, he tied the school record with a 42yd FG, congrats to the Tigers everyone's contribution made this win possible!!!
  4. Three TD, two FG, one PAT, two unsuccessful two point conversions.
  5. Thanks for the tip. He went to the Ray Guy camp but no one there his age. We found James Wilhoit for one on one lessons. I had hoped this site would help us compare his skill level to other kickers. This all new to us, have not followed high school football until this year.
  6. My intent is to compare with other kickers, not to boast, sorry if I implied otherwise.
  7. Thats great! Is he a freshman? If not, that is still awsome.
  8. I'm not familar with Fairviews team but if they have a running back equal to T. Golf of Columbia then it will be a long night for the tigers, The word must have spread quickly after the first tiger tried to tackle Mr. Golf because it seemed that no one wanted to try for the rest of the first quarter. I think this game will be close if the tigers execute on defense if not it may be more than 14 points difference.
  9. MCHS freshman kicker had three touch backs and a 37yd FG against Columbia. I thought he he matched up fairly well with Columbia's kicker who looked very good, where all of his kick offs were touch backs except one but to his credit he may have been tired the final score was 42- 17 Columbia.
  10. I think he is just what MCHS needs and it will start to show as the season progresses although I didnt think it would start against Hickman Co. last night. The Columbia Lions loss is certainly our gain, welcome Coach Tarchetta!!
  11. MCHS freshman kicker splits the uprights with a game winning 37yd FG, with 2:11 left in the game against Hickman Co.
  12. I agree with the saying that is why we play the game on the field, there no variables like momentum, injuries, weather, and lack of execution when you play the game on paper.
  13. I'm very proud. Thank you for the best wishes. If anyone knows of other freshmen kickers performances please post. I'm trying to compare to see where his skill level is at with others.
