I sure hope the boys in the press box have the Cleveland/WV game scores during our game so we can let out a good cheer when the Mustangs trample the Blue Raiders.

RC has a quite a few haters too. Nobody seems to hate us like our good friends in Cleveland I sure wish we could fast forward a few hours so we can really get our talk on for next week's showdown at Raider Stadium.

I agree that they should win tonight. Karl, what part of RC are you from? You said something about a nervous hospital a few weeks ago; was it Brushy Mountain State Prison? Looking at tonight, I hope the homecoming festivities do not get in the way of a good football game. These two teams sound to be evenly matched. I sure hope #8 and the boys are ready. Maybe RC could even start off the game with the SCMS onside kick that Coach Cook ran when he was there. HOPEFULLY, our mastermind OC will open up the playbook instead of running Desmond up the middle every other play or throwing a screen on 3rd and forever All in all, Golden Eagles by 14

I've seen Young play twice in the past two years. Personally, I don't see they the need for all the hype. Yes, he is a standout; I don't discredit that. I'm not so sure he's the best. Rhea County held him most of the game, including limiting him to 2 TDs (neither of which were in the first half). If RC's coaches can figure out how to stop him, Ray Charles could too

The best thing about Raiders basketball is Jason McCowen. He left Cleveland, came to Rhea, then went back to Cleveland. Nice guy. Class act. Entertaining to watch coach. Then again, so was Crowder when he was here.

Imagine how good wrestling would be. If I'm remembering correctly the state usually comes down to Bradley, Cleveland, and Soddy every year anyways. Oh well, this isn't a Utopian society, so it's not going to happen.

Cleveland IS our natural rivalry. Not only in football, but every sport.

Whoa now! There's no way on the good Lord's green earth that I'm on any team from Bradley County's side. I bleed green and gold. I did when I played and I do now. Cleveland is, in my book, the biggest target RC has. I don't shop in Cleveland. I don't eat in Cleveland. I hate even driving through Cleveland. Period.

Yeah, what's funny is that there may be a player or two posting. It's not just a bunch of old men anymore.

A long time? I can't really think of too much besides what you guys said about basketball, and what all happened with JMo and such. That's not exactly a whole lot. I mean, the past few years RC seems to have quite a bit of drama in the offseason with the head coach applying to other schools; then denying to the papers that he is even considering leaving, let alone applying and interviewing.

We're just having fun poking at you CBRF. You seem to be on us most of the year, and some offseason for that matter. I mean, it's Cleveland. We're pretty much taught from birth that Cleveland=dislike. BUT, I will say we have to respect Cleveland. Cleveland won back-to-back-to-back State Championships in the 90s, and gets to the playoffs every year. Shoot, I'd be happy to just see RC get one championship. '81 and '85 as runner-ups were not good enough.

This spout between a couple on here is getting out of hand. Calm down guys; we're just having fun and slinging a little mud in the process. CBRF and RC boys have been going at it for a long time. It's quite comical to watch

We're not too partial with basketball. Cleveland has a great basketball program in the women's and men's. Coach McCowen took over a great program that was started by Coach Greene (who I believe is still at UT under Pearl). At RC, our basketball is far from great, so we just stick with football.

Having seen both teams play this year, I'm definitely going with the Bears. Their big RB is too much for the Cherokee defense. And their QB can make it happen.

Yeah, you're right. We never make the playoffs. It's just an understanding that our season goes past week ten every year (with exception last year). Yeah, we hardly every make it past the first round, but I'd like to see Cleveland beat GQ and Co over in Blount County. That seems to be who we always end up playing.
