Ridiculous.
He had these kids at jim satt before he took over HS. He had them as freshman, and sophs. You guys just love your excuses. It's always something other than one of yours actually failing.
Face it, you guys don't have the coaches, or the kids now. Kids aren't transferring in, your ms program ain't building em up, and now your fanbase is dead.
Your next move will be for Clint to try and drop to 1A.
Hades hath no fury like a woman scorned. And why the “one of ours”? Your one of “ours”.

This is No Way, Shape, or Form Blake's fault. Honestly, Creasy would struggle to win 3 or 4 games with this exact same team. There is a huge drop in talent from this year to last year's team. But we can't stand around and dwell on it. Conditioning, Weight Room Success, and Hard Practices is what makes a team tough. If you push a lot of athletes in today's society, they will just quit. That's the easy opt out mentality. Having a team start off with a low number to begin with and then even more quit when their backs are against the wall, simply can NOT be pinned on the coach. AND then a coach looks around and thinks, "maybe I should ease up a little so no one else quits!" Well then you are starring at an 0-3 team that needs to be pushed for better results, but if you do that you may only have 15 dressed out the next week. It's a slippery slope. Obviously the ones who have grudges against Blake and don't like him for personal reasons, will blame him. The ones that are on the outside looking in will be able to confirm and say, "Trousdale's talent isn't up to par and their numbers are extremely low this year!"
This is an accurate take. People from other good programs can see the truth. They don't have personal grudges, whether that be because the coach sat someone's kid, or whatever reason. Grudges die hard in this county.

No way Watertown has the 2nd best defense in 2a! We have a great cord, but we are alot thinner on defense than last few years. Alot of kids that haven't played alot
The "Cycle" catches up to almost all public schools at some point.

I believe this will be an uphill battle for the Jackets. Macon will have to shoot themselves in the foot for us to keep this one close.

Here's my take... With SC size and stud of a QB they should win the game.... On the flip side, Westy has the best defense in the state in 2A (IMO) and just put up 20 against the 2nd best defense in 2A (also my opinion). If we keep the ball rolling like we did last week and play defense like we always do then Westy will win. So I say all of that to say if we win, its a big win against a really good team. If we lose, well it will suck but on paper we probably should... Good news is the games played on the field and the paper don't mean JACK!!!! Bring on them big boys and Joe Montana Jr!!!!
If you have the best defense in 2A and Watertown has the second best you should not lose to Smith County "on paper" or on the field. I know you have a great defense. Westmoreland usually does. I would take into consideration there are some good teams in West Tennessee and Tyner and Hampton are obviously pretty good as well.

This thread is a cross between the "Jerry Springer Show" and "Cops".

I think Smith’s qb could be the wildcard.

This is really, really weird, when was the last time that region 4 did not have at least one team in the top 10 ?
Westmoreland and Harpeth are region 4.

Ups and downs brother but most years we’re winning more than we lose. Playing some good ball mostly but you know how it is. Teenagers will play like, well, teenagers sometimes. Better tag @OHSIH in this one so he can proof read this post. He’s in charge of keeping me and @Spike016 in line on here now ya know miss meeting up with y’all for sure. Mostly because if we’re meeting it usually means we’re both still in the mix in late November. I’d still like to see us do a home/home with each other. Maybe someday. Keep on keeping on, y’all will be back to form before you know it.
Always enjoyed making the beautiful drive to your beautiful facility. I would love to see a regular season series between us.

I been around long enough to be on both sides of it, but there ain’t no doubt I wasn’t looking forward to being back on this side of things!
Me too. We had some tough times in the 80’s.

Watertown and TC seeing how the other side lives this season.

This won’t be received well by a couple of guys I know.

Dang near his whole life! And I mean literally. His daddy started coaching at the highschool my senior year in 1995. He was a young boy that came with him to practice everyday. He took a coordinator job at beech out of college when jaylen Hurd and the guys were down there then came back home. He puts countless hours into planning. You won’t find another one any better! Has passion for what he does as well. His daddy was the head coach when my oldest son played and before perry got the job.
I think Hackett and Harris both should be at the top of the list for any program looking for a head coach.

From what I hear, that is what happens when you take Mark Gammons away from being sheriff. Town goes bananas
About 70% of Macon County would disagree according to what I read.

Not good looks for the folks in Macon county the last couple of weeks. First the midfield logo controversy, now this? A bit embarrassing.
What’s embarrassing about the field? A school system has the right to say what doesn’t get painted on school property. I don’t want rainbows or dogs and cats painted on our field.

Last year the Watertown posters were cheering the TC guys up after their loss and talking them off the ledge. This year TC is eating popcorn watching the circular firing squad. Can't wait to check in tomorrow morning after the ER game.
Apples and oranges. Watertown didn't lose to Trousdale.

H20 lucky its just 6-0 running same 3 plays
Watertown, from an athlete standpoint, doesn’t favor the Watertown I’m used to seeing. Same story on the Creekbank.

14-0 Watertown.

Harpeth getting some love.

I believe the H2O-Westmoreland and Trousdale-East Robertson will be proof in the puddin’ games. If East blows the doors off us I think they should get into the east bracket discussion. If either Westy or Watertown wins convincingly I think the same should be said for the winner of that one. If either is close, I think the jury is still out on our region.

Is there any truth to the rumor Watertown is having “Region Champs vs. Convicts” t-shirts made?
Macon Co. heads to the Creekbank to take on the Jackets

It’s Macon County. The closest they get to a gold ball in football is when they drive by our high school. This is their gold ball.
