  1. Im sure the Wood will be hungry for a win! And the cards will be looking to bring a little payback ! Last years game film will be running on the flat screen all week !

The boys from the Ville won't be overlooking this year!

    A'ville 28

    Wood 12

I don't have a problem with the Collinwood program. There are lots of great young kids and yeah, I see no reason why they won't be real tough next year...and the rest of this year for that matter. My only complaint would be that I would like to see the more experienced backs get the ball more. Yeah, give the younger ones some snaps but always go with who gives you the best chance to win. No matter what the coaches want or who they they like...they owe it to the team to give the guys the maximum chance of coming out with the w

  2. I find it hard to believe that they have nobody who can throw a ball. I have NEVER in my lifetime seen

Collinwood without somebody who could flat chunk the rock. Something doesn't figure here. From what I saw

they might be best going into the good old wishbone and attacking that way. Caperton, Hensley, Brewer,

Montgomery, and Daniel can all run the ball...just need a little room to operate

  3. I would like to see Cwood win this one to, but Adamsville will win big.

If Adamsville has a team similar to last years when they were sort of a big power running team

Collinwood will match up well with them cause Collinwood is big too and tough against the run.

Yeah Collinwood is 1 and three but they have played three really tough teams and they are very

young. With a couple more games under their belt the Wood could be tough...and don't forget they

only have one region loss. If they would put the offense in the hands of Caperton and Hensley

they will move the ball because both those guys are natural backs with great vision and good speed.

  4. This post will prob sound kinda nutty but I was actually pretty impressed with Collinwood. They got plenty of

size and quite a bit talent. The difference was Tucker, had he played for Collinwood they would have won 40 to 6. He is just that good, to experienced, talented and smart to find much competition at this level. Happily he has only a sliver of elgibility left!!!

Anyhow, Collinwood, if they keep working and fighting hard will def win their share and Im talking sooner rather than later. Offensively they haven't found an identity yet but it will come. Hensley and Caperton are

by far their most talented and elusive backs. If they will put the ball in the hands of those two guys 90 percent of the time they will start moving the chains and scoring points. Having Hensley at WR is a waste cause they have nobody who can throw the ball. Montgomery is gonna be a great player but not at qb, he doesn't even look where he throws it and doesn't bother setting his feet either. They never let Daniel throw it so I don't know what he can do.

Anyhow, despite the beatdown I feel pretty good about the trojans despite the fact are pretty young, I can see it happening pretty soon! And I glad they not face anyone ever near Tuckers level again...probably ever

  5. Final Prediction.

    Perry County 40

    Collinwood 7

I don't waste my time anymore making predictions, plus I haven't actually watched much football so far

this season but my gut, which usually only tells me to feed it, says that the game will be close unless

Collinwood continues its fondness for turning the ball over and basically scoring points for their

opponents. Physically, Collinwood has the potential to complete but that may be all they have...yet the

season has barely started so we'll see.

  6. physically Collinwood is ok, actually bigger than before but less speed. Defensively they are probably better

than they've been in awhile but the coaches can't seem to figure out an offense to suit the players he has. Jacob Daniel and Logan Montgomery are big power type backs who need to get upfield in a hurry and forget about running east or west. Nick Caperton is faster and smaller. Above all they need TO LEARN HOW TO HANG ON TO THE FREAKIN BALL FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. They prob need to get in a I formation with Daniel and Montgomery running straight ahead. I know they got some good linemen, if they can't block the question is why can't they block?

  7. Cwood made some changes on both sides of the ball that I think will make them a completely different team....the wood will b rocking

I listened to a little of the Forrest game on the radio...whats the deal with Collinwood's rbs...

Caperton and Heard didn't even play. Both those guys are outstanding and I don't see the wood

being very good without them back there toting the rock. Did they quit too?
