They do run the ball as well. From what I've heard, the last couple of games they have run the ball for over 200 yards and they have thrown the ball for over 200 yards. Their defense if obviously better seeing that they've held their first two opponents to 19 and 14 -- which compared to last year is much better. Last year the same teams put up 48 and 28 against them. And so, it is resonable to say that Temple is a much better team that last year. If you compare the numbers from last years team to this year they could possibly give us at South Pitt a pretty good game this year at Finley.

hey dude, take my word for it. that's what temple wants you to do; to focus on one player like Smith. that's exactly what sequatchie did last week and from what i understand they got burned bad by 22, 3 and 1. y'all better just worry about playin' ball period and knock it off with the trash talk. Temple has a pretty decent team but I really think that Valley will run all over them. They might have a better defense than they had last year but not enough to stop the running game of LV. Therefore, I believe that Valley will put huge chunks of yards up against the Crusaders. Plan to see another playstation type scoring game to be played out in this one. LV 45 Temple 39

Even though this game was alot closer than i thought SP did what it had to do to win. It was a great game and I'll not forget it. Good luck to the Bucs the rest of the season.

I would agree. It looked to me that it was a legitimate hit. If you can't take the heat get off the field. The last time I checked football is a contact sport. I just can't wait till we play y'all at Finley.

I just got news that we're supposed to play Temple at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga on Oct. 13th. This should be a good setting for this game. I hope that the SP fans have a good showing at this game.

From what I recall we didn't play all of our guys in that game. Temple played a pretty impressive game against us and they have nothing to be ashamed of and we really have nothing to brag about. I would say that Temple will be pretty competitive this season. They have some great players in Seth Skogen and Josh Smith.

Wow! I thought Grace would've beat the Patriots by much more than 3 points. Is Grace slippin' or what? A loss to McCallie this week and only winning by 3 over CSAS? Is the big guy on Grace doing anything? I've heard he's not as good as some people make him out to be.

I guess there is no clear cut #1 team in the chattanooga area. Red Bank beat Bradley Central. Soddy Daisy beat Red Bank. Temple beat Soddy Daisy. Grace Baptist Academy beat Temple. Grace lost to Notre Dame and Central. Who is really the #1 team in the Chattanooga area? It appears there are no clear cut winners.
