That comment was not supposed to be offensive, I assumed everyone know where they lived, I had never heard the term curb stomping, but thanks to the picture posted by rebel convert I realized what it was, and it does not refer to a "sound beating on the football field." funny, as i recall it D-B has only won the Big 8 conference one year, 2010. In 2009 TN High won it, and this season they have one more game left to play before they can claim it. So, what are they still bragging about?

True, but you cannot call other teams mediocre when your team has been the epitome of mediocrity, all you have done in the past few years is beat up on some 5A teams, and I can remember just the year before last when you couldn't even do that. I know you D-B fans say that the size of the schools doesn't matter, but their is a reason why we have two different playoffs. All i am saying is before you start patting yourselves on the back go out and win something worth bragging about.

Do you know what team Ruffryders follows, I don't, just wandering which "mediocre" team he follows? I do find it humorous how you take so much pleasure in your team being 10-0 playing in the Big 8, even though in my personal opinion that will not happen, being that you are playing a bunch of 5A teams. We could all go beat up some freshmen, but it would not be much to brag about. d-b should live for the playoffs. If i were a fan i would think anything less that an appearance in the quarterfinals to be a failure. Which brings up a good question, when was the last time that d-b made it to the quarterfinals?

With the departure of Stacy Carter, and after last years playoff game i don't know if that is necessarily the case anymore. I think a more accurate statement would be Carter along with the Rebels used to be in Jeremy's head, but that is no longer the case. Not a bad pick though but i will personally stay with South by only 7.

Hey Crap1, if you are going to mention the fact that TH won the Big 8 that season you also must mention that in the second round of the playoffs Tennessee High lost to Daniel Boone.

That is not a fair assessment of the situation, Boone's best chance at winning is running the ball no matter how may scores they are down. They have a better chance of breaking a big run than completing a pass. Now last year if they were down by that much they are gonna throw the ball, but they just can't do it this year. It is very painful to watch I know.

I think you are right FUB, Science Hill has all the pieces their, the financial support, the pool of students to draw from, the jr. toppers, and a pretty dang good ball coach. I see no reason why in the next couple of year they can't start producing teams that can compete with the Maryvilles of the state. The only thing that worries me is that with the new stadium and the new coach, if they can't get a win over d-b either this year or next will the fans get frustrated with Carter and start looking for ways to get him out of there? I ain't saying they will or they should, but i could see how it could happen.

No, i would not have known who the players were if he would have used names, but i would have rather had him elaborate on why he thought they were so good. Yea, the last couple of seasons they were and their is no way to dispute that, this season is a different story, I don't think I ever said that they were more athletic this season. It is no secret that Boone is having some big troubles this season.

You may be right man, I wasn't at the game so i can't make a good judgement call, but from what i have heard about it, South performed well in a high pressure situation to win the game. Is that incorrect? I am sure they are close and wouldn't say that South is hands down better than Tennessee High, and if they played again may have a very different outcome, I just think that you have to give credit where credit is do. But that comment was more directed towards Craps overall mentality not just this one situation. And i believe you are right, best of these 3 doesn't mean much, in fact if all 3 of them make the playoffs and are not matched up against one another, i already predict 3 first round losses.
