  1. C'mon, who is hating? Not me! You have provided some great starting stats for last year. I was just trying to get current game performance stats. A simple "the coaches/schools for these guys don't choose to report stats" would suffice. Appreciate your efforts - would love to see these four from the boro (and others from around TN)on tape (or DVD these days). Hope they ALL get colleges to provide scholorships! Good luuck this weekend and in playoffs.
  2. This is kinda silly - why are you NOT directing us to where the stats are located at the same time providing excuses for why the boys of murfreesboro do not (presumably) have good stats? All outstanding linebackers in the rest of the state of TN have the same issues that you mention, but all have stats. Small part? How about 40 yd dash, shuttle, vertical leap, bench, clean . . . small part? HA! How about grade point averaqe? Small stat? Please direct us to the 2010 game stats of these boys, thank you.
  3. Never see anything? I was there - were you? Please re-read my post . . . note that I was pretty tough on the Ooltewah team for losing this game. No rose-colored glasses here. Would like to give you the opportunity to take this "reaction" back, please.
  4. Toughest in the NATION? Says who? Which unbiased national sports journalist says this? Where are the teams listed nationaly? Texas, California, FL, Ohio, PA??? Certainly a talented couple of teams in Murfreesboro, TN but please let's not overstate, OK?
  5. Where are his stats listed? I'd like to look at them. Thanks!
  6. This is all hype unless we see performance in the games - STATS! This is how every football player is judged - by stats. Please, can we see some solid results? Where are they compiled? Thanks!
  7. OK, i'll bite. What are the solo/assist stats for the best four linebackers in murfreesboro?
  8. Hey, blueraider - Ooltewah did deserve to lose. And yes, they made many more mistakes. And yes, with all of the hype, we were ALL expecting to see Joe Namath out there. You got to admit, CHS looked kinda flat, right? On any given Friday night, either team can get the W, especially in OT. Ooltewah got the L. It's a nuance thing. Glad Voytik is healthy again - never wish injury on any kid - for any team. Even JM.
  9. Unless i'm not reading the title of this thread, it is the best linebacker in Tennessee - why are only nashville kids listed? There's an outstanding linebacker in Chattanooga from East Ridge - most tackles by far in entire state - Stephan Nelson - over 160 tackles in 8 games - lightning quick! Also check out hard-hitting middle linbacker J Rudwell from Ooltewah (#2 in tackles in state for LB). What are stats from the 4 nashville boys listed in voting?
  10. Please pray on Sunday in the church of your choosing, not on Friday nights at a football game. I promise I won't bring my portable TV into your church pew and start watching NFL games on Sunday - fair enough?
  11. Ooltewah LOST this game, Cleveland did not WIN it. 1) Ooltewah tipped a long ball with :50 seconds left in the half, and the deflected ball bounced into the hands of the CHS double-covered receiver for a TD. 2) Ooltewah missed two field goals. 3) Ooltewah dropped a SURE pick six from 12 yards out 4) On critical third down in OT, the Ooltewah center snapped the ball over the QBs head for a major loss 5) Cheater-transfer RB from CHS was held to only moderate yards carried 6)the time management at the end of regulation was extremely poor. 7) Ooltewah continues to suffer from 3 to 5 delay of game penalties on the offense EVERY game. I was expecting to see CHS QB do great, but was honestly not impressed - Ooltewah has faced at least 4 far better QBs this year. I do RESPECT that CHS was able to find a way to let Ooltewah beat itself. Every parent, athlete, coach and administrator in this county and state knows the real score of an athlete (student?) that attends 3 schools in 3 years. He is a cheater and so is the Coach. Not bitter, just stating plain facts. If I were a CHS fan, I would sure want this forgotten as soon as possible too. Can we put an asterisk by JM's rushing yardage for the last two seasons? I'm sure that as he signed his "transfer papers" JM had to realize that this Cheater stigma would follow him FOREVER. It is really unfortunate that coaches, in their quest for win-at-all-costs, did not tell him that the newspapers, TV, radio and all fans would look at him and just spit out only one word: CHEATER.
