Why a super 12. why not a super 18?

The private schools should leave the TSSAA and work with other states and promote there own rules

 

This hiring was one of the worst kept secrets in coaching history. Why wait 2 months to name a coach. That had informal discussions within days of the opening? Rector is an outstanding coach and will do a great job. My concern is. Will the administration allow him to do his job? The administration has a proven record of not allowing good coaches the opportunity to do the job. what role does the Board play in Ryan's misfortune in athletics?

1. Why not break away from the TSSAA all together and start a multi state conference?

Is Father Ryan going to show-up for sure?  They canceled with Christian Brothers and Ravenwood at the last minutes and didn't want to drive 40 minutes for a "no show?

 

Chris Lewis is running scared. He is the one that Ran from Ryan.

1- he never beat MBA

2- he was out recruited horribly. Lost paying Catholics to MBA, BA, Ensworth and CPA.

3- when he had talent he couldn't win the big one

Ryan deserves a coach with Ryan ties. The Board, administration and alumni have failed miserably the last 15 years. So, say what you want. But it needs to end and go back to the roots of the school. Forget the national search and go after an alumni

What's this got to do with anything? He's changing school systems so it won't effect any other school Father Ryan plays! Let the boy play ball!

When your on finanacial aid. you play by a different set of rules and guidelines.

1- He did not move residence. He was always in the Hendersonville zone.

2- He is moving to Hendersonville because Ryan does not do early graduations

Public schools are putting the cart before the horse. On average most (not all) do not support athletics at their prospective schools. The only money they(public schools) generate is when they play Private schools.

I believe this is what needs to happen to shut up those that are crying for the split. and in 2 years they start there own conference and bring in other states as well, Georgia, Alabama and Kentucky are planning the same split.

TSSAA may want the split. But, deep down inside. They are not ready for what will happen next

Man it gets thick when Gobble is a professional. Let me ask Jimbo if he can be called that

Fan, he is an excellent hire. He has won everywhere he has been except JPII. He will do a fine job at Goodpasture

what about Tom Moore?

I think a good canidate would be Jerry Joslin at JPII. He knows the area and has done a good job with the talent he has to work with

If PC comes out like it did at Vanderbilt against East or at Lipscomb. They will find it tough

PC has been hit early and often. Just to mention MBA was creditied with 5 turnovers and PC bounced back to make that a close game.

PC is talented. But, K.Vaughn is NOT there only weapon.

If you want a quality coach who is Church of Christ. Jerry Joslin at JPII would be an excellent hire. He has won everywhere he has been except JPII. And that is not because he did not do a good job. Administration is issue at JPII

Figures, a school the requires a national search for everything except a quality football coach. Do they really value athletics at Ryan anymore???/

You will see it when the money does not show up. Because Public schools need the private schools to show up when they play them. Money Ball at it's best.

I have heard for years about Private schools and how they recruit. Yet, Public schools do the same thing with Open enrollment. The biggest difference between the 2 is that Private school coaches outwork public school coaches.

Private schools put an emphasis on athletics because that is how they get kids to attend. If the split happens. If I am a private school administrator. I would not allow my school to play a public school. then see how long it takes the Public schools to cry. I also would Leave the TSSAA and start my own organization. would be better run and not to the benefit of a select few

I would love to see the Private schools split from the TSSAA. But All private schools should be split.

The private schools should completely split from the TSSAA. Public schools created this mess let them play meaningless games with no crowds
