  1. I think grade point avg and the classroom is figured in on this award. He has some outstanding stats do you know what his GPA is......also there are a lot of teams that dont get their stats turned in to TSSAA so its possible that he was overlooked for that reason......happens to alot of kids every year. I'm sure he made all region which in my book is just as good as the other award because the coaches in your region vote on those and earning that respect is a huge honor.
  2. Would just like to say that the trip to Maplewood was a pleasent one even though the panthers got a huge win. Everyone was very nice and cordial.....and I would like to add that the annoucer for Maplewood was hilarious and took the frustration of being on the losing end off with his observations of the game. The Tigers played hard and it was a much tougher contest then the scoreboard showed...I'm sure the seniors felt better walking off the field than they did the week before in Pulaski when they thought it was their last game. Good Game #26 while I'm thinking about it. Good Luck Maplewood the rest of the way. On a side note just in case anyone from the TSSAA is reading.....Giles Co. hosts David Lisbcomb this week. I would love to go watch but at $8.00 a ticket I just cant justify taking my family of four to an expensive ballgame......Seems like attendance would go up and more money would be generated if they backed off their prices.
  3. Milan wins this win.....Fairveiw ends their season by getting blown out..they had a great season even though it was a lucky one......they found out last week that you cant work playoff refs like you do regular season refs...........even though i can appreciate the season that they had.....it was painful to see their coaches act the way they do on the sideline begging for calls.....they should put that much effort into actually coaching their players.
  4. Things unraveled so quick last week the Tigers got down and never got up.....when they wasnt giving the bobcats good field position on turnovers the defense seemed to stop them. After a couple of subpar games to end the season look for them to rebound with a much better effort. Somthing they will need against a good Maplewood team. Regardless Marshall Co. rebounded from last years 1-6 region record to a much better 4-3 record and should be better than that next year. Good Luck to both teams but GO TIGERS!
