wchscoach, I agree wholeheartedly. I went to the Jo Byrns/Collinwood playoff game just to watch a game. I do not know anything about either team. Just wanted to see a game. I sat on Collinwood's side. In the 3rd qtr, I ask someone what grade Montgomery was in & they told me 9th. I thought to myself no way. He was one of the "best looking" kids I saw all year in all classes. I am sure he will do big things for Collinwood in the next 3 years. If I were Collinwood coaches, I would get the ball in his hands as much as possible. If they put him at QB, that means he touches it every snap!

After watching Nevada the last couple of years (especially tonight against Boise State) The Pistol is awesome. It was designed by Ault as a power offense. As I watch it, I see power, zone, Option, Mid principals, play action and Spread. The more I watcH it and try to understand it, it does not look very complicated but is very effective. I know it has sprinkled into TN high school football. Only a matter of time before it catches on and teams add their own wrinkle. PISTOL

O'C is gone after Xmas. LC is primed to receive him with open arms. Incredible career by Coach Thompson. Tough act to follow. Not too sure about O'Cs assistants. JD will not leave Williamson County. Too much $ and he could get the Summitt job if he wanted.

Does anyone anticipate any changes by TSSAA when they gather this month? Will any schools be changing classification because of the 20% enrollment increase/decrease, will any schools move to new districts, how many new schools are opening that may change districts? Not necessarily looking for comments concerning playoffs because I think they HAVE to change the system again. It is not good this year. Inquiring minds want to know?????????????

This should be a great game to watch. I think Camden will pull it out.
