I am not attending Blackhorse this year. With the new changes that Houston has implamented we were not invited to go i guess. I am not sure why but we are going to knoxvillle that weekend. dont hold me to those words about Blackhorse. it is just talk that i hear so... Thank you manchester. 220 prodigy: it went fairly well. had some usual preseason glitches as should be expected just beofre season. but the quality of opponent was good: tall, strong, and fast. I dont remember the score but it was a success no less

The two west tn preseasons have concluded and i think that they went fairly well. There were a lot of great matchups in both DI and DII. Lets hear some things you saw and liked about it and who you see going far and who you see dropping like flies!!!

I completely agree with that. I will definitely try to leave a legacy this year, not only for my school, but for my team and state. I hope you will get to see us sport a larger range of wrestlers. We and our multitude of coaches work hard everyday and we plan on showing tennessee what we have been working on.

haha funny, but seriously. there is more talent in memphis than people realize.

i've seen and heard of some new additions to the upper weights in the memphis area. I can't wait for my first preseason this weekend to see the additions.

I am just glad to see more names in the upper weights. I am glad that they are sporting a team because memphis could use more private teams. I think the bigger the memphis division is the better more we will have to compete which in the end will make us stronger.

I'm liking the way the division looks. we look strong and competitive. I am anxious to see Omar Williams for St. Georges. I can't remember seeing him wrestle last year. Can anyone give me some help?

Does anybody know what weight TJ holmes is really going because last year at state he was low on the 189 end. Me, i am going 195 and cutting to 182 but will be wrestling 220 for some part of the year. TJ is gonna be back at it tough and i cant wait to see him in atlanta.

is region 8 still memphis area schools?

Cody Davis i agree with for D1 and for D2 i would say Amos Mason at 220 is a sure thing unless a certain 195 pounder can go up and give him a run for his money. There are a lot of people that can repeat in D2 but for the upper weights it is most likely him.

Can any give some projections for the upcoming year based on last years results and this years new weight classes? Lets gives some input so D2 doesnt get left behind in the talk...
