I understand that situation, SHS has only 4 home games this year. They had to choose between BGA, OHS, BHS and Olive Branch. Gone are the days of everyone playing a cake game for homecoming and the fans. Good Luck on Friday night, should be a great one.

SHS graduates 30 seniors. BHS and OHS a bunch too. Does RHS emerge from their slumber and move back to the top spot in the district? They are loaded with young talent and will have the 2nd best tailback in the district. what do you all think?

LOD When your riverdale warriors win the district next year and go deep into the playoffs will you at least try to accept the wing-t. Congratulations to LC on your hiring. Hope your new coach stays as long as coach louie and is very successful.

If OR thinks they can beat Smyrna maybe they should have the coach call Matt Williams at SHS we are still looking for some out of district games. And I agree with an earlier post the Punter for MHS won the game. Kept the Bulldogs in the deep end of the field all night.

Just got back from the Championship Game. Congratulations to Maryville on your win. Hope your QB is ok. He is a special player. Bulldogs played to the end and didn t give up. I am proud of the boys from SHS, you gave us a GREAT season. And very proud of Jeremiah Bryson, he has played in 2 Championship games in his high school career and took the offensive MVP both times once a freshman and now as a Senior. Go on to Pitt and make us proud.

Everyone in Smyrna knows that Maryville is a great program and always has great teams. But when all you see on a SHS MHS thread is our coach is better and alcoa's coach is the greatest ever. And granted alot of folks have been ticked off by comments made towards our players and our program. Fans are expected to pull for their teams. Keep race and derogatory statements about these young men out of all of this. ALL the East coast posters just don't seem to realize that Smyrna is pretty dang good, and your boys better be ready to strap em on Saturday night. I know it will be a GREAT game, I hope the best team wins and no one is injured.

lets just take smyrna out of the championship game and let Coach Rankins team play merryville, since thats what everyone on the east coast seems to want. Lets stick to shs / mhs stuff on here people. Dont the alcoa people have their own thread. Or is it just so boring that you have to post on everyone on the website. cat its good to see your id on here. one of my buddies said all we were doing was providing some bulletin board material for the merryville team, but I think the merryville fans have taken care of that. The Defensive lineman that the merryville folks photo shopped out of the Bulldog picture is Mr. Nate Smith or Big Nate as we like to call him. I think you will find him more athletic than he looks. I think your offensive line will find that it takes more than one of them to block him. And you might find it interesting that he is the brother of John Henderson a little fellow who played ball up on hill at Knoxville lets just say he knows something about the game. So you can say all you want, the Bulldogs will be ready @ 7 pm on Saturday night.

Not expecting #45 Deon Meadows to play. Tore a tendon in his finger in the Mt Juliet game and had to have surgery the monday after the blackman game to not have permanent damage to his hand. he was our Mr Football Lineman candidate. he should have a shot at playing on Saturdays in the future. Looks like everyone else will be healthy.

Details details The Bulldogs have a 1000 yd rusher #5 at tailback (Missed alot of action week 3 of the playoffs due to ankle sprain) His backup (a senior) rushed for 137 the night he was out. The Third TB just as fast and a Jr. QB is a dual threat. Good feet and vision downfield. Recievers to many to name. Defense is Big and Fast #56 Nate Smith 6'2 350 at Tackle #77 Cruz Blanke just a Dang Big Ole Boy Defensive ends Fast and Tackle well #45 Deon Meadows LB lost for the season due to hand surgery replacement is # 21 Jr Demarcus St. Cloud. The outside linebackers are as fast as you have seen all season. # 5 plays free safety ( Committed to Pitt ) I am sure I left something out. But you get the picture. I hope

By the way Riverdale was the Number 4 team in District 7AAA. Brentwood should have finished 4th in our district they lost to the same 3 teams that Riverdale did and won their District only to get an 8 seed in the playoffs and play us in the 1st round. But I digress, is your coach staying there, rumor in Williamson County is he is coming back to Middle Tennessee. The Ravenwood job is open.
