Hey Steven"s dad, I seen Marques Jackson get whipped good last night, he"s 6 ft. 4 in., 373 lbs. benchs 400, squats 535, has offers from GEORGIA TECH, AUBURN, ALABAMA, ARK. STATE and alot of division 2 schools. He's a straight A student and one of Will"s best friends. He will be greatly missed next year. If Will had been well he would have been in that position instead of the second stringer they put in Marques's place. Hey, Steven's dad, good to meet you and your son. Great game last night....someone had to win. I wish we could do it again Friday night, but unfortunately it's over until next year. Hey Steven"s dad, I" been waiting on you to post again. I agree with all your predictions but one. Ripley will be hard to move the ball on. The only team that whiped us bad this year were the Cavs, Johnson and Johnson were too much for us and everybody in 7-3-A. They are without a doubt 7-3-A champs and we will support them as far as they go.We welcome the Rebels to Ripley the city of hospitality. P.S. Hey Steven"s dad we lost to Haywood last week in double overtime,should have won. We had the ball first and 12 for a td with two and half minutes to go in the forth,one delay of game and a questionable block in the back call and we didn"t get it done. D1 prospect Will didn't play because of an injury from the Covinton game, he should be back for this win. By the way what position does your son play? Yes he is going to the Memphis UT game tomorrow as guest of University of Memphis. Crocket played great tonight.I thought going in it might be the Johnson and Johnson show. Does anyone know how many college scouts wil be at the game tonight? Bet their will be alot of them. We have 7 or 8 college prospects on Ripleys team. How many does Crocket have? If you've seen McElrath play, you would know there isn't a runningback in the region that can bulldoze him. I'm lookin forward to a good one Friday night.

Crocket should take the week off if they are so sure of a win. No need to prepare for little ole Ripley.

This will be a great game.The trogans will win by 14. As for the RHS TIGERS their conditioning is great. RHS beat the Trogans on both sides of the ball,just ask someone who seen the game and or the stats from the game. RHS got beat by a foot,the foot of a great kicker. He kept us pinned all night long in terrible field position. In my eyes he was the Trogans MVP. He will get to play on the next level. Good luck to everyone in 7- 3a.

I didn't think Ripley's offense was too bad either. It was a good game, and hopefully we'll see each other again in the playoffs.

We only lost 3 players to gaduation the center, right tackle, and Washington. The best qb on the team only played linebacker last year, and it wasn't McAdams. As for Washington, he was a good back, but we've already replaced him with faster guys. 8 was the number of points we lost by last year. It seems to me and others reading this that you don't know alot about Ripley. How many starters did Dyersburg graduate last year? Dyesburg will need to be stronger and faster than last year because we are.

The QB will do alot running,mostly for his life. Ask someone who was there last year. This team is stronger and faster than the one who lost by only 8 last year. It will be dog fight and a low scoring game , just like last year.

Ripley shut out Mannassas 34 to 0,solid defense.

My guess is you did not see last years game.No single back had a 100 yards against Ripley in 2005.I hope Dyersburg is looking for cake walk.

Dyersburg will be lucky to get 200 total yards. Ripley's defense is stout, especially against the run. I predict the first upset of the season, Ripley by 7. The new coach has this team looking really sharp. Dyersburg will be the place to be to see a great football game Friday night.
