Any predictions on 4-AA

Stone girls lost to Scott County last night. I can't believe this year has turned out this way. From what I have observed in this team over the last few years till now is not the same team. These girls are better than the way they have played this year. I hope that next year it will be different, but if Tim Smith is still there you can bet it will be even worse. It was to bad that two of his players were out the last few games. It would not have mattered anyway. He has no consistency in the way he coaches and who he plays. So girls keep your head up you have nothing to be ashamed of. He is the one that should be embarrassed. Better Luck next year!

This is not "Nastygrams" this is just the facts. I travel all over and watch high school games and can tell you that height does matter. I have not seen any teams with tall players sit the bench with players that are shorter play against taller and bigger players. Just is not good coaching. Have never seen Coach Smith ever post stats on his players why start now? Man, you talk about trashing players I guess we know you don't like the tall shooter guard. This has nothing to do about someone liking or disliking any player. What this has to do is about playing players that need to be playing not sitting the bench. Also, sounds like you have a personal problem with this young ladies parents. That is sad for her and bad on your part. You talk about height not being a problem tell me one high school or even college that will play a short post over someone who has height and can rebound and also can shoot. If you had read my post earlier you would have read that I do not have a daughter and I said if I did she would never play for Coach Smith. I have not heard one person in the SMHS crowd cheer for this team. Your are right that these girls need support so maybe this is why they are struggling. Someone needs to get a grip on this team and hope that in the next week they can get it together. So they will have a chance to win district. They are very talented, just not being directed in the right path. So tell me is it the girls' responsibility or the leader of the team to do that. That is all I am saying. This team has potential and they are not using it to their benefit. Not their fault.

Last night Stone lady panthers played Alcoa and once again they lost. As I watched, one of their big post players played about 2 mins. max. Alcoa does not have a lot of height, but they do have good shooter. Stone has two big post players and a couple of guards that are about 5'9 and 5'10"..so why would you have a small forwards in on someone taller..it looks like another coach is out to please someone other than his team. That's a shame! One of his shooting guards came off the bench scoring, then he would take her out. I have seen him do this in the past. This is one of his traits! One of his big post players played some but, apparently she is in just to rebound. They never pass down low. If you are a coach looks like if you had big post players that can move with the ball you would put it in their hands. Looks like this team is out for themselves. Coach you will never have a wining season as long as this goes on. Also, your point guard cannot see the whole floor. I sat in the stands listening to the crowd yell at Coach Smith. He could be in the running for the worst coach of the year! Coach Smith you are killing your team and a bunch of girls who have talent and you have wasted yet another season! They play Kingston on Friday! my prediction Kingston will win, unless coach smith learns to coach before Friday! You're the most embarrassing coach in the state of Tn!

yes, I do believe this team is a great team, however you have to be coached and motivated to be the best player you are capable of becoming. Their is no team it's two girls trying to do all the work. That will never work in any team sport. They do have two big post players that never are in at the same time or even get the ball passed to them to make good post moves. They also have a tall talented 3pt shooter who can play down low, pass well and shoot well. Your right with this much talent you shouldn't lose. When they attack you down low pass out, when they are on your shooter pass down low. This is never the case. These girls need to be motivated, encouraged and made to practice hard. Also, another question you asked was about passion. He has none. He really hasn't a clue. anyone who with a few minutes left puts a 5'5" guard who has not been in the entire game with two post players on the bench doesn't know anything. If he or his coaching staff had a passion for the game or these girls the outcome would be different. Also, I am not a parent. If I had a daughter I would never let them play for him. When I am at the games the fans are not into this team and that is a shame because they are an athletic team. I have seen teams loaded with talent and bad coaches lose. I have seen non-athletic teams win with great passionate coaches. You have to have a balance, commitment, honesty and passion to have a winning team. Over the years Coach Smith has had some of the most talented teams and can't win. It's time for him to call it quits and let someone take them girls to a different level and not ruin this bunch of girls as he has done in the past 5 year.

I haven't heard that, but at this point it would be the best thing for the lady panthers. I will cross my fingers. Last night he didn't start his big post player or his shooting guard. The Lady Panthers have more talent than they are showing. Looks like a team divide. Sad for the players and bad judgment on Coach Smith. Tonight they play CCHS and this is a big rivalry. Stone needs this win for confidence. Can or will Coach Smith and his coaching staff know how to pull out a win? Play to win coach not to please.

Will coach Tim Smith prove once again he has no idea how to coach high school ball, or will he play his BEST players to BEAT CAK?

I watched the Scott and Stone game last night and the stone girls are not playing well at all. Would have thought that at this point of the season they would look better than they do. They look like a two man team no team playing at all. The point guard and one of the wing players want to do all the work. Stone has good three point shooters and big post players that are not being used at all. Who is coaching this team? Where is the Stone team from the summer? What is up with putting new girls on the floor with 18 sec. on the clock. They are cold and you want a miracle? They have players that are in wrong positions and don't even need to be on the floor. Coach Smith what are you doing? Do you really like to lose that well? Scott played hard and wanted to win. They were fouled and went to the line and made their free throws. That is how you win. Good coaching for Scott County!

I have watched the Stone Lady Panthers play the last few weeks and tonight was the worst game I have seen them play. A team with so much talent, big post players, good shooting guards and a good point guard and play the way they did tonight is a reflection of the coach (POOR). The girls from stone did not look like the team from last week playing CCHS. They look slow tonight. Coach Smith, coach your team. If I was the coach I would be embarrassed, Coach you have one of the most talented teams and you look like one of the worst, TIME TO GO BACK TO ELEMENTARY BASKETBALL!!!!

It is true that SMHS is loaded with talent. CCHS will come out strong it will be a good game. Still CCHS is my pick. SMHS is really big and strong down low and they have really good 3 point shooters. CCHS is very aggressive and the new coach WILL out coach Tim Smith...

I will go with the Lady Jets...Better Coach.
