Coaches, Be sure to get your team into the upcoming 2013 ASA Nationals Spring Qualifier at Fly Park on April 27-28th in Franklin, TN. With 10u Nationals in Bowling Green and 12u Nationals in Chattanooga this summer, this is a chance to earn a berth to one of the most coveted events in fastpitch softball at a location that's easily affordable for Tennessee players and teams. Even if your team doesn't plan to attend Nationals, this event gives you an excellent opportunity to see how you stack up against the state's most elite travel teams. Entry fee is only $250 and we will be taking teams for another week or so. We will offer 10u, 12u and 14u divisions (only the 10s and 12s have Nationals berths available). Ravenwood Softball- as mentioned above, the March 30th game against Goodpasture did not occur in the Raptor Classic tournament due to rain/pool game rescheduling and will not be made up. It can be removed from both teams' schedules.

For the 10u and 12u division, this event will be an ASA National Championship Qualifier with one berth awarded to Tennessee teams in each division. Additionally, we will host a high school division with games being offered on Saturday, April 27th, Sunday, April 28th or both if desired. We will cap the high school division at the first eight teams entered and offer each team a three game guarantee for a $100 entry fee. I realize that most of you already have your schedules well-defined for the coming season. I also realize that Middle Tennessee weather is not the most dependable and that some of these events you have already planned may get partially or completely washed out in the coming weeks. As such if you lose games to the weather in the coming weeks, we'll be happy to help you make them up at our event. I'll keep the registration open for this until the week before the event for late registrants or until we have eight paid schools entered, whichever may come first. I will also provide periodic updates to this thread as teams are added to the list of participants. Of course if you have an opening in your spring schedule and you would like to get in now, we'll happily accept your school's entry too. Hello Coaches, Registration is now open for the first ASA Qualifier of the year, April 27-28th at Fly Park in Franklin, TN. This event promises to be a great one, attracting teams from all over the state to compete for the first berth to ASA Nationals to awarded in 2013. One berth for Tennessee teams will be awarded in the 10u division and one berth for Tennessee teams will be awarded in the 12u division. The ASA "A" Nationals for both of the divisions will be very well placed this summer, with the 10u Nationals in Bowling Green and the 12u Nationals in Chattanooga. As such, it is expected that a great many Tennessee teams will desire to qualify and attend. Be sure to position your team well by attending the first qualifier of the year. Registration for the event is very simple via the TournamentASA site - www.tournamentasa.com . This site also compiles all of your team's data from qualifiers and other ASA events throughout the summer: wins/losses, head to head matchups with other teams, runs scored/allowed, pool/bracket play results and much more.
