Please give us some reasons (real reasons not just I don't like him or he's mean). I would really like to hear why you think Giles Co. should get rid of him. OC has been nothing but good for Giles Co. In this case, what happened away from the field had very little to do with what happens on the field. I think I can confidently say that not one player has stopped during practice or a game to think about the Lincoln Co. deal. Its mostly just fans.

Its comical. Im really starting to wonder if these are serious post or are they just up here for our entertainment. I laugh every time I read about East Hickman.

You're right didn't count the Demarini CFB 10/11 as a different bat or the VCB 10/11 as a different bat. Whether 10 or 12 it's still not that hard to know what's legal and what's not. Just take 30 minutes to look and learn. Most teams have 3 or 4 different bats. Coaches should look up their 3, 4, or 5 bats before they step on the field and there would be no problems.

Wow. What a mess. I think what everybody expected with this new bat rule has happened. Umpires have no clue, 3/4 of the coaches have no clue, and the ones that do know what they are talking about get overruled because of ignorance. This really has little to do with the outcome of games but if there is a rule in place not just for TN but for the entire U.S. we should abide by it. Especially since it is about the safety of players. It's really not that hard if you have a computer and can use a mouse. There is a list of illegal composite bats and legal composite bats. All aluminum is legal. There are only 10 legal composite bats. If you can remember 10 bats then you know whats legal and whats not. There are a couple more but these are the most common illegal bats: Demarini CF3, Easton Synergy, Easton Stealth, Reebok Vector, Nike Aero Fuse, Mattingly Beast, Combat Virus, Miken Freak, Miken Red Burn, and Miken MV.

How is CPA this year? How will they be on the mound?

This district will never be easy. Spring Hill is expected to win but there are a couple quality teams that will definitely challenge them. You can be a really good team in this district and finish 3rd.

Should be another great year. Last year sent a team, Spring Hill, to the state championship game and another team was one game away from being at the state tournament. Giles had to come through the losers bracket to eliminate Marshall Co. in the district tournament. Hard to top that but I expect more success this year out of this district. Spring Hill is the front runner and will be tough again this year but they must replace some guys that played big roles on last years team. Giles and Marshall will also be competing at the top of the district. Giles will have to replace a lot of guys and I don't know of any pitchers that are returning that saw significant time on the mound last year. Marshall will return a good group from last year. The problem they must solve is how to replace Watkins and Chapman on the mound. They have a younger guy that threw hard last year and he should be good but after that I'm not sure. Not sure about Page but they have been in the top of the district in the past. They lost Gross who won them a lot of games last year and the number two guy was shaky. Hickman Co and Lewis County are in the middle of the district but could creep up towards the top. Both teams are capable of beating any of the teams at the top. Hickman because of the lefty. If he can throw strikes he will be tough and possibly shut somebody out. Lewis is scrappy. They will scrap and stay in the big game and give themselves a chance to pull it out.
