Usually #1 plays #4 #5 winner #2 plays #3 #6 winner. #1 Hampton #2 S Greene #3 Cloudland and if they go to head to head competition Unaka should be #4 toss up on next two...my guess #5 UH #6 NGreene just saying....

Foul shots and missed opportunities doomed the Bulldogs tonight. Need to get it together by tourney time. Take nothing away from Unicoi they are a good team. They should make some noise in the tourney themselves. Could be interesting to say the least. Good luck to the Landers and the Bulldogs next week.

Most of the refs seem to be getting worse the last 4 or 5 yrs. The old guard retireing. Seems to me they were better when there were only 2 refs per game. Tonights game with Unicoi will be a good test for the Bulldogs, the Devils will be as good as any single A team they will face. A little more intensity and little less flash would serve them well. I agree, take what the other team gives you play smashmouth defense and it will take care of it's self.

Bulldogs still need to work on team play. Dont seem to be as sharp as they were mid January. Its tourney time boys and time to shine.

I think you need to go back and read the post again. The Cloudland game hadnt happened yet dummy! I said that if they kept shooting 35 footers then they would have a problem. I never said anything about shooting 35 footers after the Cloudland game and since you brought it up look at ALL the stats from the Cloudland game. The Camillo kid had the best stats from that game...he was on fire and played a heck of a game as they all did. My hats off to the Bulldogs and hope they win it all. It would be good for a Carter County team to go and represent! And I dont remember having to ask YOU for credibility for my posts!

Before the season started I figured Unaka would be on or near the top of the heap with a team loaded with talent. Needless to say they havent got it together YET... Still loaded with talent they could make some noise at tourney time or at least be a spoiler for somebody. The Bulldogs are really tough right now and honestly if they can keep it together I dont see anyone beating them in the conference. But this conference on any given night anyone can be surprised.

With 4 high schools in the county and 1 in the city naturally each one wants to beat the other. Some more than others. But honestly I do believe Hampton and Cloudland kids get along better than any other schools. Yeah they would love to beat each other but many times after the fierce battles whether it is football or basketball or most any sport you will see these kids leaving together eating together or just plain ole hangin out together. I know I for one, pull for Hampton if my Landers are out of the running.

Didnt say anything about 35 footers tonight Mr Durden and could care less what you think about my post. Hampton is a good team and wish them the best. I suppose that you have been to all the Hampton games and watched some of the ME ball. I dont have a biased opinion just call them when I see them.

Not picking out anyone crybaby...The kid will develop into a good and possible a great player when he quits showboating and play within himself. Dont have a DOG in this race but YOU will see the Landers coming back at ya in the short future. I like I said dont have a kid playing for Hampton and mine have all graduated from Landerland but I have been coming down the road and watching Hampton this year. So I dont have a biased opinion, just call them like I see them and again he will improve and good luck to him and the Bulldogs this year.

Landers might not have the best matchups especially this year but have ALWAYS defended their house well. They have had NO problem defending McClain in the past and certainly wont have a problem defending Jones. There will be bigger problems than those two especially if they keep firing 35 footers all night. Just my humble opinion.

I agree they better be on their toes.

I dare say Ned will bring a sign to Landerland for most he isnt very welcome there anyway. Watch out for the Landers the next couple of years if they can gets some issues worked out they will be very tough. Great young crop coming up. And by the way the Landers arent gonna lay down at home for the Bulldogs....trust me!

ME BALL was alive and well tonight...I was there and witnessed it. Maybe this scare will get them back to playing like they should be...need to pull it together.

Bulldogs are playing sloppy and nobody rebounding. They live and die by the 3 ball. Way too much ME BALL. Better be glad they werent playing a Unicoi ball club. Dont have the intensity they had at one time. Coaches better work on the chemistry or the road might get a little bumpy. Landerland Friday night...could be interesting.....
