Dawgs are head and shoulders better than any team in District 1. Another state tourney trip waiting on them again. Loaded with seniors and talent. Nobody touches them.

Seems to me the dogs are playing their bet right now. Home court advantage no way Meigs will make the state tourney this year.

Local radio station is WBEJ 107.9 not sure if they do any streaming. Heck I cant even get it at my house on a good day too far up in these hills.

Most of the time the visitor bleachers are only needed until halftime because the Bulldogs have the game well in hand and the bleachers seem to empty early. Awful long and lonely ride home...speaking from experience.

The Landers rolled tonight on Warrior field. Final 30-14. Good job single A!

If the Nashville area is the ONLY place to have basketball championships then move it to Vandy! Get out of the GLASS HOUSE! Pretty much everyone has trouble with depth perception at that wretched gym! I can also agree to let the Privates play in their division and the public schools play in theirs. And here you go TSSAA that will be more money in your pockets.

Might be a nice gesture to send you all packing AGAIN 55 yrs later.

Does anybody know why Camillo didnt start or play that much tonight? Is he injured?

Game was very sloppy I agree and yes there are several rumored attitudes off the court and on the court. "I" ball has to stop and reading the papers to see who scored the most doesnt cut it. Maybe some of the boys sitting on the bench need more playing time. Sometimes a good shake up can do some good. But of course that is just my opinion.

Well I got to come down from Lander Land tonight and saw a couple of very good games. Refs were off as usual but wouldnt expect any thing less. 3 kids taken to the hospital is 3 kids too many. Hope all of them are ok. Things do happen when rivalries are played. Refs actually let it get out of hand. Threw coach Dugger out. What was up with that? Didnt look like he even got a warning. Bulldogs looked out of sinc at times (boys). Maybe a little too much "I" team ball. Season is very early with plenty of time to "fix" that. Bulldogs are still the team to beat. Camillo is usually the shooter on the team but wasnt a factor tonight. Guess good defense rules again.

Evidently not. Why didnt they change defense a little earlier tonight? I mean come on, 42 pts????

I sure wish Hampton would have gotten in the 1st bracket and was really hoping to play Meigs. But now we will never know who was best now will we?

Everybody can sit back and analyze what was good and bad about this game. I also have opinions. Many things I would have done different but not one of these opinions on here will win us the game now. Congrats Bulldogs you all had a good run. Everyone can be very proud of what you all accomplished. At least you didnt have to recruit to get there. Good luck to the seniors on this team. All 3 were great leaders on this team. May GOD richly bless you all!

At least the best single A public school

No secret the boys sports seem to be more important. Was told by a couple of employees there that the boys get most of the money.

Lead is a Charter (magnet school) it is 2 yrs old and had 5 seniors and 7 juniors. They are an Academy which means they recruit. How else would you have all these juniors and seniors??? And will be very tough in the coming future.

All this talk about splits and private schools is just what it is basically just TALK. TSSAA will do whatever they want and will especially follow the money. Plain and simple "money talks and BS walks" according to TSSAA. Here is something to think about: I have played sports and coached numerous sports teams but what if tomorrow all sports were taken out of school? Would everyone be as passionate about our childrens studies? Would we strive for a 32 on the ACT? I truly think we ALL miss the point. It's the childs education that carries them thru the rest of their life. Yeah we all play 4 qtrs but what about the 5th qtr, when the real world slaps them in the face and sports is no longer there? Can't do much with the powers to be (TSSAA) but you can help your childs education. Would you rather have your child score 30pts or have your child score a 30 on the ACT?
