  1. I agree with your post except one thing. Most of those times that O. Blair missed the QB was because of OL hanging all over him. Those refs were terrible. I don't think they know what a hold is. See you in Chat-town

You Can't handle it because there was no holding! or the Refs would have called

it . You can't handle the fact that the oline for us was good! You have got to be the

worst winner of a Team that won a game! Are you the fan from Central that got

thrown out of the stadium ? You sound like that guy!

  2. bigin52--your info is wrong. Where did you get it??? :thumb:

Total losses for region 3 is 37. Total losses for region 4 is 44.

The bottom 3 schools in region 3 were a combined 7-23.

Also, Central defeated a 8-2 5a Farragut, 7-3 Halls, 6-4 Powell and a highly rated 3a Bell Co, KY team. I'm not sure of their record.

On the computer polls, region 3-4a is the toughest in the state in the public schools.

All this is moot. The game Friday at Central will decide who is the better team. Good luck to the Eagles.

Medman I got my info. from Central-Rhea co. Web sites My Region stats: were as i said but total losses Region 3 38 Region 4 43 and Region 3 botom three was 7-22 but i was giving back stats to Clevland who wanted to state facts! But like you said all that is moot come Friday Good luck to Central too.
  3. MY pick is Jacob Rigney for Rhea Co. 4a Sr. 6'3" 200lbs moved from DE to OT and

has not giving up a sack in two years not big for a lineman but great blocking skills

JR year with 25 pancakes and 223 passing plays no sacks. 4.8 in the 40 and has not give up a sack this year. squats 415lbs and vertical jump is 30". ;)

  4. # 49 Played at Clinton Senior High 1967-1970 TE/DE No winning Season,

6'3" 185lbs no weight lifting came straight from Baseball season.

My older son played one year 2000 his senior year 6' 158lbs at WR for Rhea Co. #10 on JV and scout team only and was one of the fastest on the team but never played before.

My Middle son now 17 is playing now 2002-2005 for Rhea Co. # 52 starting DE/OL

    is 6'3" 200lbs benches 255lbs, squats 415lbs, clean&jerk 255lbs, vertical 30" and

runs the fourty at 4.7 Won Fastest lineman at Anderson Co. Jamboree 2005.

  5. Rhea Co. in 4a has two outstanding defense lineman:

    Senior Justin Hilliard DT 6' 4" 249 4.87 40yd dash

    Senior Jacob Rigney DE 6' 3" 200 4.8 40yd dash :D

In two games these guys have combine for 30 tackles 2 sacks and 8 tackles for losses. Even though the team has loss these games. These two will be outstanding

all year no matter the out come and leaders on the field and in the classroom

  6. Answer to ? Cain Hammontree is a JR so he will be back next year.

The starting center for last wk. had a eye injury and is back this wk.

The starting tackle for last year may be playing both sides of the ball,

He's playing on the defense this year.

  7. Rhea Co has a good team ,they played in a jamboree last night and beat White Co.

21-0 and McMinn Co. 7-6 Last week they beat Sevier Co. in a scrim. Great offense with a QB that can throw deep and WR that can catch, Two running backs one quick and good moves the other big with power, runs over people. Very good defense. Very good size in both lines. Read the Dayton Hearld for information on the players this week also features the Varisty. thumb

  8. I was at the jamboree Rhea Co. played Clinton score was 14-7 Rhea co.They moved the ball at will but kept shooting there self in the foot with pentalies. Great passing and running. The defense front four and linebackers you could not run aganist but the corners and safteies need work. Then Oak Ridge and Anderson Co. played the running game of Oak Ridge was good the passing game needs work. The defense front and linebackers are good but corners and saftey needs lost of work.Anderson Co. offense coud't move the ball very well except for two or three plays. The passing game had some bright spots. The Defense could stop the pass but the run kill them. Oak Ridge JV played Rhea Co. Jv and ended up in a tie. Rhea Co jvoffense could not do much but defense played good same with Oak Ridge. Then Anderson Co. JV played Clinton JV I didn,t see any of this. See local newspaper for score. At half time the teams had the pass, punt, kick, fastest back and fastest lineman results below:

    Pass- Oak Ridge

    Punt- Anderson Co.

    kick- Clinton

    Back-Oak Ridge

    Lineman- Rhea Co.

Look in local newspaper this week for the names of the winners thumb

p.s. Four middle schools played the first half
