Not too bad? Without Howell, LA would have blew you guys off the crt. Not just his shooting but he runs the offense. Atnip is a good role player. Amazing/MVP shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence as him. No disrespect, he does alot of little things, hustles best he can, & not a bad passer but not athletic enough to create his own shot. Smith co is horrible inside so could give false impressions. Ramsey from LA is head & shoulders above the other players in this district.

Both teams are good enough, but really need to play a couple road games there during the season to soak in the atmosphere. Tyner & Howard have great fans & they can really make some noise. Often they have taken a couple bus loads to livingston during sub-state & cheered louder than the standing room only home croud.

Not seen much talk from the Bees. They may slip under the radar! Very well coached team. Noticed they played stone mem better than LA did. It will be hard for any district team to go to the bee hive & beat them. seems like LA usually just has one or two football players each year that gets alot of playing time. I understand that 4 or 5 of their top 8 played football. They are still impressive considering they haven't hardly touched the hardwood. Eldridge is a beast! IMO he will be the best post & rebounder in district by seasons end. Dekalb is tough & fullilove is best defender in the district but needs to quit shooting from the outside(shoots from behind his head) & use his athleticism to go to the basket. York is young & big. Cannon will supprise. Smith co has me baffled but needs their shooter back. Not sure about Central, magnet schools as we all know can stack a team fast! Should be a good competitive district with 1 team (prob LA) going to the boro. The other (prob DC) loosing to a chatt team in sub state by 15.

Ive seen alot of poeple making comments like this about how LA has lost its dominance since the coaching change. Shoot, even one person created a profile "dominance lost" lol. LA has had a great program but have only been undefeated in district play 3 seasons since 2000. 09/10, 07/08, & 05/06 never in back to back years so just because they loose a district game or two doesn't mean theyve lost their dominance. What separates them is they have been region champs 5 years in a role, hosting 5 substate games leading to 4 big dance appearances. Missing the 5th by a double overtime loss to Howard. Dekalb & LA are both good but winning region is key cause neither is going to chatt & pulling off a sub state win! Bad decision on Millers part not fouling with minute & half left. Should have made it a free throw game for dekalb & got themselves at least 4 more possessions. But the district dominance comments are ridiculous! Nothing different until someone can knock them off in region tourney!

Heard both have offers from Tn Tech. #5 from fulton is a beast! Once he turns the corner nobody gonna catch him & forget arm tackles. Yall got the real deal there. #11 on defense looked good too

Was some nice hits & If also heard Mccoin had 8 stitches in his throwing hand from an incident earlier in the week. Though luck! Never seen him turn the ball over before. Could imagine how hard it would be to hold on to the ball with a stitched up hand must less throw it. Take nothing away from fulton def as they were hitting hard but thought that needed to be shared. Tough kid with alot of heart!

Sounds like alot of respect from both sides! You gotta love it! What most of these boys have worked on for 10+ years. And a few idiots with no class cant take that away! Both sides have some good fans & the right to be excited. Only bad thing is we got to wait 4 more days

Agree it would be foolish to believe la would shut down the pass, also foolish to think dc can shut down la running. Do think both will be contained better hence la advantage in passing verses dc running. I beleive la will prove to be more versatile on offense. Defense has to contain the pass & believe they will do better than most this season. Definetly better than the dragons did!

I definetly think its the game of the week & alot of poeple in this district have been talking about this game since week 1. Two great offensive teams that have done pretty much what they have wanted. L A will be the best defensive team decalb has faced & vise versa. The key is which team can have success when 1st option is taken away. LA will win, Mccoin & the passing game of la is better than decalbs running game. Dont anticipate la kicking to molander.

Better check the measuring chains & clock keeper. Heard home team gets good spots & clock stops at opportune times

Pretty sure I made it clear, YORK game. Starters were left in till last snap. At least half the fourth should have been "reserve"time. I didn't see the Macon co game & dont remember mentioning it.

I will go out on a limb and say LA takes it all again. I think this team will be even better than last years team. Lost some good players but returning alot of experience. More athleticism & speed. Look for Soph Eldridge to assert himself as top post player in the district, allowing Ramsey to roam & of course post if needed.Mccoin & Hayes will create havoc on opposing guards. Decalb will be tough but not poised enough to sit at the top. Smith co may actually edge Decalb for 2nd.

If its like the York game, younger players wont get a chance. Watched the game & DC left starters in when game wasnt close!

Guess the Dragons took last years rivalry off lol!! Anyone also knows teams have up & down years. Even though York wants it so bad they can taste it, same result as last year!

You Cpa fans crack me up! Maddux doesnt know what it feels like to be abandoned by the team star. Mercer didnt leave until after Greg went to Vandy. I would love to see Lindsey transfer to Oak Hil Academy, then see how all the Cpa faithful feel about recruiting! See how greenbriar fans feel!

Maddux has worked with tssaa last couple of years during the state tourney cause his recruiting hadn't hit full stride yet. That must be how cause there is no other explanation!
