  1. You guys are counting out Van Buren far too quickly.. No one expected them to win District 6A.. No one expected them to beat the Might CSAS out of Chattanooga, but they did..No one expected them to beat Private School Goodpasture but they did.. Don't count out the underdogs.. If Mills, Roberts and Walling are hitting their shots, they'll be hard to beat.
  2. Heart.. & Lots of it.. These boys don't quit easily, they've been through adversity the whole year and weren't even expected to make it this far by many people. If your boys don't bring it, you might be going home sooner than you think.
  3. TSSAA, can not silence or make anyone stop with what they are saying. If it bothered your coach so much or you as a matter of fact you could've went and told a school official or a Police Officer, and yes they were there. & The "White Out" game is unsportsmanlike, because it delays the game and calls for a clean up right after the first basket. Also, it can result in Technical Fouls being handed out. But its all fun right? I didn't think the game of basketball, gave people the opportunity to learn how to throw toilet paper. If you want to throw toilet paper wait till Halloween and go TPing houses.
  4. It can be interpreted different ways. But IMO they called it pretty evenly, sure they missed some calls and all that, but that happens in the game.
  5. The racial slurs will happen, they happen everywhere. Believe it or not. But you cannot tell me that you saw for a fact that the Coach did not lay his hands or make contact with the players, since it was a big scuffle infront of the visiting lockeroom. I guess TSSAA's verdict and how they interpret all of these unnecessary actions will silence people. Also, Warren County is basically promoting unsportsmanlike conduct. On December 13th they are incouraging people to a "White Out" game, so when Warren scores their first basket of the game, the students and fans throw toilet paper onto the court. Why do something like that?
  6. Sale Creek opens up district play tomorrow at Van Buren. Any predictions on who will win this game? I've seen Van Buren's scores of their last two games and it shows that they have won. This could be an interesting game, showing that you have them finishing seventh in district just like other District 6A followers showed them finishing in basketball.
