  1. Marshall County won 16-1 over East Hickman last night. Updated District Standings: Marshall County 11-2 Spring Hill 11-2 Giles County 9-6 Summit 8-5 Page 7-6 Lewis County 5-8 Hickman County 5-9 Fairview 4-9 East Hickman 0-13
  2. Spring Hill beat Giles 12-2. What was the score of the Marshall County vs. East Hickman game?
  3. Does anyone know the score of the Marshall County vs. Fairview game yesterday? The bad loss Hickman had versus Giles County on 04/10 seem to have dampened the spirits and affected the boys play against a mediocre pitcher for Giles County yesterday. The team's bats didn't come around until the 4th inning and by then it was too late with Giles already having 7 runs on the board. They even had the tying run at the plate with 2 outs in the top of the 7th. Hickman had a really good chance to come away with two wins over Giles this week and move up in the standings, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Keep your head up Bulldogs! We still believe in you!
  4. Does anyone know if Lewis, Page, East Hickman, or Fairview played yesterday? Spring Hill won a close one against Giles County last night with a score of 5 to 4. Not sure who pitched for either team. The Dawgs shocked a Marshall County team last night with an 8-2 victory over the Tigers at HCHS. Tim Johnson pitched for the Bulldogs and Cody Vernon pitched for the Tigers. Vernon was rolling until the 4th inning when he gave up a couple of hits to start, followed by a couple of walks with bases loaded. Great two out hitting by the number 4 and 5 batters for the Bulldogs sealed the deal. Beard came in to hold the Tigers at bay with 2 runs to finish the game. Dawgs travel to Marshall this afternoon for a 4:00 Varsity game. Go Dawgs!
  5. Does anyone Know the scores from the Lewis County vs. Fairview games this week? I heard that Page swept East Hickman with scores of 10-0 and 9-1 on Monday (doubleheader at Page). Two hard fought games for the Bulldogs the last two days. Too many errors and lack of hitting kept the dawgs from mounting any comebacks in these games. Both Hays and Johnson pitched really well in these games with hardly any earned runs. Hats off to Spring Hill players and coaches! Coach Lamb is a class act and runs a great program. Teal and Schupert both pitched good for Spring Hill. Hang in there Bulldogs! Your town is behind you all the way!
