It doesn't matter if he comes or not. Dyson and Campbell both are control freaks and he won't have any say so in the program. I love Coach Gates he has truly mentored my son. If Coach Dyson had given him the freshman team alone they would have won but he brought in one of his friends to be the Co Head Coach. The Diviner guy what type of resume does he have over coach gates. The kids loves coach Gates. He and Coach Diviner butted heads but Dyson never stepped in because that was Dyson friend. So Rathbone know what you are getting into.

Can anyone name the coaches at Independence anyways and what coaching and credibility they have? I only know a few. He played at Utah not the SEC. He only made one play in the NFL and now everyone thinks he can coach. Then you have Coach Gates who played college football and he knows the game head to toe. He deserves the head job not Dyson. Coach Alexander is more concerned about the homecoming courts than coaching. Coach Fetner yells at the kids for no reason makes no sense. Coach Bobby watches too much playstation to pick up his defensive knowledge. Who is the other two big guy on the staff? Does anyone know who they are? It seems like Dr. Campbell is taking care of his people rather than trying to build a winning program. Now I hear that Coach Nation from Heritage is coaching the linebackers. That's going to be interesting because he punched one of the players dad just last year at Heritage. This kids brother players on the varsity team. Will he do the same at Independence. From this staff you tell me that Independence can win heck no.

It's sad that Indy is already running plays with their coaches in the gym which I thought was a violation but who is to say looking at the MBA situation the TSSAA wouldn't do anything. Coach Dyson you have to cheat to get a head start and you still won't win 5 games. Can anyone name the coaches on the staff because I don't see any fromn the fall when I pick my son up except Coach Gates. This guy is dedicated. He is there when Coach Dyson is doing his radio shows for the Titans. I bet that if he was the head coach they would have won. I heard he won all of his games last year as the head coach on the freshman team.

His son doesn't go to Indy because the strongest kid there only benches 260 the Swayze kid which is sad. Who is running their weight program

As we approach spring practice one thing is for sure. Independence made a mistake by opening the season with Blackman with the way things are fallen apart there. Rumors has it that Coach Dyson is more concerned about the lockout than his team because no Titans means no paycheck for him from the radio. Not to mention just today my son comes home from school and tell me that three football players were in the locker room smoking weed and got caught. Amazing to see considering all the coaching offices are right there. Great hire Dr. Campbell. One word of advise hire coaches with resumes not ones that hang out with you on the weekends. The coach you have on your staff that has any knowledge about football is Coach Gates. He has seen the program grow and would have been a great head coach to lead these Eagles not someone who is living off the name the Music City Miracle. As I sit in the stands last year and complained about the defense looking like they put together their game plan from The NCAA Football, now I sit in this parent meeting a few weeks ago and listen to Coach Dyson say we are going to have a mom clinic to teach us about football. I am wondering if I can teach it because none of these coaches can. Parents just pray with me as we will go through another loosing season unless someone cleans house at Indy and hire a new principal and coach because as we know Coach Dyson is only a puppet in the position and Dr. Campbel calls the shots. I hope someone can respond realisitically and tell me something different because I see disaster in front of us.
