  1. Hide and watch. If he is as good as everything I have read, It will happed.
  2. With the undefeated Freshman team and the returning starters from the 2012-2013 season, He has the players. Most of these young men have been playing since first and second grade. The ones from Rhea Central won the SVC Championship two(2) consecutive years, beating both South Pitt and Jasper. Watch for Sophomores; Williams, Shelton,York, Hinds,Thurman and Freshman; Mullins, Shoemake, Smith, Pendleton, and Patterson.
  3. Nic Mullins from Rhea County. 6'1" 290lbs. 5.7-40 yd. Filled in at nose and tackle as a Freshman. Started both ways on undefeated Freshman team 2012-2013 season.
  4. I was hoping for Coach Cook. My bottom line is; RCHS has the players. With the right coaching, they have the potential and the players coming up to be State Champions within the next two(2) years.
  5. Pemberton from Brentwood has been hired. As for no talent at RCHS. You are fooling yourself. If Coach Pemberton lives up to all of the articles I read last night, RCHS will be in the play-offs in the 2013-2014 season. Keep your keys open because he has an undeafeated Freashman team coming on up. Watch for Williams,York, Thurman,Mullins. Shelton, Shoemake, Hinds, Pendleton, and Noel Patterson. This is just to name a few from the top of my head. The talent is there if the coaching uses it correctly. Coach Harmon has made outstanding progress. He has five players (ninth and tenth graders) in the 1000lb club. Thats not bad for 15 and 16 year olds.
