  1. Nice try Last I saw there was a perfect game with two outs in the seventh.... GO BEARS!! 6-peat, YEAH!!!
  2. There is a considerable difference. The sweetspot is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches smaller than that of a composite or normal aluminum bat.
  3. Ok I'm going to give you my opinion on which are the best and worst BBCR bats to buy. I am a college baseball player and had these bats sent to us by the bus load. Anyway, Demarini was one of the first to produce theese bats, and honestly have constructed one of the most sturdy of them. The Voodoo is definately a good choice. It needs to be broken in meaning it needs to be hit in the cage quite a bit before it gets used in a game. The Vexxum is also a good choice and very durable. It's going to appear that the barrel is quite small but when you are dealing with a sweetspot that is only a hair larger than a woodbat then it doesnt matter. Refrain from straight one piece bats in my opinion, because we had two and both were broken within the second day. Also, the surge is not a bad choice, but I would not suggest the Omen made by Easton, it has a heavy price tag and is not worth it whatsoever. Hopefully this clears things up a little.
  4. Have fun getting those homeruns out of that ballpark...
  5. This is pretty comical. I really didn't see anything from Lebanon that proves they are a team that even makes it to the state tournament. They need to worry about the district tournament before even thinking about going to the big show. I'm speaking from personal experience by going to the state championship with Mt. Juliet in 2009. Worry about the game in front of you before thinking for a second your going to Murfreesburo.
  6. But can you tell me the last time someone else besides MJ has won a district championship? Give me another team in the district that can hold a candle to Faragut. In big game situations the Bears have done nothing less than show their true ability. Bears take the district championship again in my opinion. I've spent my whole life around Coach Purvis, and I know one thing, and that is he will have the team fired up and ready to go.
  7. Mt Juliet is going to be strong in the tournament wait and see. I am a past player, and I have grown up with the program with my brother graduating in 2002. Coach Purvis will definately have the team motivated. The Bears have sustained a few key losses, but rest assured they will be hungry to win another district championship. They need to get rid of some selfishness, and true leaders need to rise up and take control. There is one accolade this program hasn't accomplished, and there is no reason this year can't be the year to do it. GO BEARS!
