One more day of practice this week.... wonderin' why everyone has been so down on us "poor" red devils this year

I think spring practice will be the ultimate decider on how we are gonna do this year as a unit.

I don't have a Plus membership. I get messeges from people who also are not Plus members. I cannot read the message. I understand why. But why even allow the message to go through? What is the notification on their end? Why not just disable the function altogether? Instead to allow the message to be sent but not read?

Actually, you are wrong there. I participate in a thread or I don't. I don't dog pile after the fact like these JB guys were doing. If they were just straight up congratulating WC, I wouldn't have called them on it. If you go look, I get after Gordonsville posters in the threads when we play them etc.

Even if WC pulls off a win this year, they lose a lot of people. That means G.V. may be the roadblock again.

I love how all south pitt people think there team is the greatest thing ever, but guess what? they are just high school kids like all the other players in high school playing, and until players realize this and just play, bully teams like south pitt will always be the greatest.

I'm picking JB by 2 TDs over Bye Week. Bye Week doesn't play anybody much. LOL

I think any team can win on any friday night, and as far as the injured jb team goes, the players that are playing are just gonna have to play. Who cares who is playing, the team just has to get it done regardless and forget about everything else. JB needs to find a way to get energized and play to the ability that this team can play.

Angle? D60 Your joking. I garuntee you that our kicker is not kicking it put down to the 25 or 30 yardline. That is a bunch of mess. Grider needs to put a steel toe in the kickers kicking leg and put some more air in the balls so they will go further. You think im joking but im not.

Roy, you realize the refs are the ones that put air into the balls before the game, they decide how much air goes into the balls before the game. And trust me they blow them up a lot.

Get real, it was one score and it was a spring scrimmage. You can't even agree on your last two posts about the margin.

Gville had 9 positions on offense with new players. They've settled in and would wax JB right now, and Gville is still young.

Gville beat Cascade in a scrimmage 35-7 and JB beat them in a game 35-27. I know ours was a scrimmage, but 4 scores is a lot.

I have the film and will watch it again, to say gordonsville could wax the floor with jb is pretty dumb. Also jb had new players in new positions

The only reason Jo Byrns has been more successful than Gville in the past few years is because they play nowhere the caliber teams that Gville does every year. Jo Byrns got a small taste of it when they did play Macon County, so what if they had to play TC every year? Gville plays FCS, SC, and TC every year and coming out with a 7-3 record is really good considering the calliber teams they play. Jo Byrns had an easy road to the state championship last year, and what happened in that game? Gville is on a different level than Jo Byrns...

HAHAHAHA!!! Jo byrns scrimmaged Gville and beat them by 2 scores. Obviously you haven't been keeping up with Gville.

I'm taking TC in this one, I watched the Jo Byrns scrimmage against gordonsville, even though it was in the spring.

WC defense has done a good job against the pass except against MTP where they were playing soft coverage to try and contain their qb. Cascade may "air it out" but WC will run it right down your throat.

If WC had to play soft coverage against mtp they will have to against cascade because carkuff, cascades QB, will run it and is very fast, and makes better decisions than MTP's QB.

I think this years team is better on offense. We lost players in 2 key positions on offense. offense: FB Johnny smith, and TE michael yates. You may say well those positions dont get the ball and score, but against defenses they are both 1 on 1 blocking positions, and if they arent executed properly the whole play is a mess.

I would like to see more of aaron vinson #3 and frankie running, as defenses will key more on brandon and frankie. If the team doesn't beat themselves it will be a good game, and maybe even a win for jb.

How good is Jo Byrns?...I have only seen them play in State Championship games on TV..given the fact that Greenbrier, East Robertson, Springfield,& White House-Heritage all in the same county...Jo Byrns manages every season to put a team together that can compete for a deep playoff run annually!...Is there a bigger school that they can be compared to as far as talent or ability to compete? Where's the Commissioner? Does Jo Byrns scrimmage any of the larger schools during the Spring or preseason?

Jo Byrns scrimmaged fairview, gordonsville, whitehouse, forrest and maybe another team.

Moto, let me ask you a question. What is going on with that Joe Byrns defence? They are giving up to many points to beat real good teams. Those Trousdale boys killed those Macon boys last Friday night. I thought those Joe Byrns boys would be better than this. That Adkins man needs to get them lifting weights so they will be real big and strong.
