Coach Rankin's will put Oggs in the best situation period! He will make sure that Oggs gives the team the best chance to win and he wont ask more of Oggs than he can do. I guarantee you will see Oggs throwing the short to intermediate game rather than jus throwing the fade like those STUPID coaches at AUSTIN-EAST had him throwing all the time.

Turby isnt proven. Oggs has proved that he can make plays and be clutch when it counts. If turby does in fact start will the lights get to him, will he nutt up?? Who knows??? If i were Rankin i would go with Oggs as my starter. He isnt the best QB in the world but i assure you he will make more plays than Turby will and get the job done!!

Austin East will lose this game by atleast 14 points. Their quarterback from last season transferred to ALCOA they have no chance against West. West had a great season last year.... their offense throughout the playoffs was dynamic except for the semifinal games they played.

First off let me say Oggs is a better ATHLETE than the previous QB. Oggs is not on the same level as Cobb but i could see Oggs maturing over the year and developing into the mighty fine ATHLETE that Cobb was. Oggs does have a lot of growing up to do and will need to do so in a hurry. I think he will continue the tradition of winning state championships there at Alcoa, with their dominant line the running backs Oggs will star on that team. He will also take a lot of pressure off Vanderbilt and the other kid. Who will defenses key on now??? Oggs isnt the best passer but he can make the short to intermediate passes needed in Rankin's system. He also throws a great deep ball. Jus needs to be more accurate and consistent. Come on Turtle Turtle just because the kid is transferring to Alcoa dont take any credit away from him. You were on the Oggs bandwagon when he was winning games for AE and when they didnt come out victorious in some. Ok Cox and King are good players but they dont have the heart that Oggs has. Cox has an issue with FUMBLING the ball and King is INJURY PRONE! Oggs has been the most consistent player of the 3. When the ball is in his hands he makes playS. AE is a .500 team at best without Oggs.

the transfer i heard was the Donald Oggs kid who played for austin east. ive seen him play a few games and he made many many plays while in a roadrunners uniform. he was MR. DO IT ALL for AE

what's the latest on this game and what do you all think the outcome will be??? Is there any truth to the Donald Oggs kid transferring to Alcoa??? Oggs has been the do it all ATHLETE for the roadrunners the past 3 seasons. If so he would be a tremendous boost to the Alcoa Family.
