The rankings are based on number of wins (no matter who against) computed with strength of schedule. They don't account for head to head competition, scores, classification of opponents, etc.

We went to the fields yesterday and they were muddy, but no standing water. We weren't able to practice outside yesterday. The fields are good enough for us to practice on today (only a little damp), so unless any more rain comes in, we will be good to go on Saturday! I spoke to Dave LeMarbre (head umpire) and he says we will be ready to go Saturday. Right now the weather says 65 and partly cloudy/sunny. The rain (20%) isn't supposed to come in until later Saturday night. It looks like it will be a great day of softball! I also wanted to add a small change to the schedule. It only involves three teams, but I am reposting the final schedule in its entirety. I'm not going to repost the pools, as they are in the post above and still correct. One more update. Allen County (KY) had to drop their JV because of high school softball rules in their state, so we were able to add McEwen High as well as Soddy's JV. Now our playday is FULL. We have added Ravenwood's JV as well as Brentwood's JV. Our playday is filled! We have 32 varsity teams and 10 JV teams. The schedule is almost complete and will be posted within the next week. Thanks again for entering the biggest playday in Tennessee! Now we can just pray for good weather!

I know everyone is excited about opening day on Monday when we can all take the field! Ok, not really since it is supposed to be below 30 and/or rainy EVERY DAY... I wanted to update everyone on how many teams are in our playday at Beech. Right now we have 38 teams entered. It looks like we will have FOUR varsity pools (with 7-8 teams in each one) and then ONE JV pool (with 7-8 teams as well). We are still taking up to five more teams (4 varsity and 1 JV).
