Kpt needs the anexation money. I agree. They do. Haven't you seen the latest? Kpt is $222 million in debt. Now add another 7.4 million into a stadium where the kids can't make it past the second round....thats smart.....!!! How much more money is going to get dumped into that program which chokes every year? Doesn't sound like a good investment. Maybe if Kpt annexes the rest of Colonial Heights, Rock Springs, Fall Creek and Indian Springs, then DB would have the talent to make it to state. BUT, only if Coach (Choke) Clark leaves. But thats the only way. You know, whats funny, you guys think your the best, but you need us to complete your team so you can make it to state. Obviously, because you can't make it now. Ha Ha Ha Ha..... As is stands now, DB and Kingsport is one big JOKE, or is that CHOKE....Ha Ha Roll Tribe......Rolling in debt!!!!!!

Did anybody hear that the city of Kpt is talking about giving the DB stadium an upgrade? Grand stands? How many million? How about spending some of that money and getting them a coach and a team that can make it past the 2nd round. It is so bad, everybody on here is starting to talk about how good the band is. Wow, DB band, thats cool. Get a football team to go with it. Facts are facts, look at history under Coach Clark. He chokes. This season, DB only had one three star recruit, no four stars and no five stars. And the three star only got three stars because he weighs 300 pounds and sent film to other schools based upon playing Central and Volunteer. Wow, anybody should have been able to get three stars playing those schools. Same Ole crap from DB. They beat everybody around here and can't go nowhere. Thats just par for the course for arrogant DB people. Roll Tribe!!!

The topic of this discussion is "DB the future". Just seems interesting that everybody wants to discss the future of DB football when everybody outside of DB already knows their future. Round 1 or 2 and OUT!!!! You guys on here crack me up. All this talk and you know deep down inside whats going to happen>>>Round 1 or 2 then DONE!!!! So just keep on talking and wearing your DB football crap and all of us who didn't go to DB will be sitting back laughing at you. You know you are making fools of yourself. Clark might be able to beat Science Hill, but DB will never extend their post season run past round 1 or 2 under Clark. He just doesn't have the ability. DB may have the players, and they did this year, but Clark blew it with his lack of coaching. If DB ever expects to make it to state, they must have a coach who can lead them, and its obvious from Clark's post season record, He is NOT the man to do it. Who is? That is up to the powers to be at DB. However, with all the money that is pumped into DB football, it appears that is all wasted. So, DB has a choice to make. Keep Clark and keep being the "King" of Kingsport/ Sullivan County, or hire a real football coach and be "King" of the State. It really doesn't matter to me, but until such time that decision is made, DB will keep on being DB. (folding early in the playoffs).

Once again, Central gets out "Foxed". When will the powers to be wake up and smell the coffee? Central had multiple chances in the first quarter and half to take the lead, but the old middle school calls killed them. Central will never get anywhere as long as the current coaching staff is in place. You can take the coach out of the middle school but you can't take the middle school out of the coach. When this season is over, Fox will be 1-19, wow!!! There are good athletes at Central, this proven to be fact, just look at the other sports, they do pretty good. Why, they are coached properly. Football, yeah right!! Go Fox!!! really, go,, go,, somewhere else.

The O-line is small execpt for Hayworth? Or the O-line is small compared to Hayworth?? Wonder why Hayworth is so big?? Thats a really good question. #50 is kind of big too, far bigger than last year at North. Maybe they are going to the same gym.

I have no little Johnny. However, if I did, he sure wouldn't play for Jeff Fox. As for the two time state champion football coach at east, I really don't know what the deal was there, but I'd take my chances anyday over what Central has. Fox hasn't proven himself. Since at Central as Freshman coach and varsity, His record is 2 or 3 wins with 18 or so loses. I'd say he will probably resign after this season, either that or get ran off. Either of which is probably fine with all the Central Nation. By the way Holston does not concentrate on basketball over football. Seems to me, Holston wins the Sullivan County Football title every year. Seeger and Harrison are turning out good football players, but Central coaches are just destroying them.

Congratulations Sullivan North on a well deserved WIN!! You lost some good seniors and lost a dead weight transfer to DB and you still continue to win. My hats off to the coaches and kids.

One can never win this argument, but deep down inside, when you go back to work on Monday, you will always know that your team (DB) will always be a first rounder, and that, you can't hide. Check the history book. You can't change it. HA HA<<<< ROLL TRIBE

They have to improve, they can't get any worse. Maybe at the end of this 0-10 season, you might see it my way.

I'm not a huge South fan, but home cooking always stinks. However, I am a big Jake Weaver fan. What an athlete and a gentleman. Keep you head held high young man, you deserve the best in every walk of life. Keep up the great work.

My team? Maryville... Don't go there. Maryville knows how to take it to the next level. If you don't believe, check out the stats and the state championships..Oh yeah!! By the way, the other teams in your conference might be better if DB didn't recruit all their good players. Oh well, look forward to seeing DB come calling on Maryville. You can't argue history, look up all DB's first and second round loses. Its almost funny!! Roll Tribe!!!!

When will the powers on high at Central realize that hiring a losing middle school coach as your head football coach is not the answer to turn around a losing program. A few years ago, Holston Middle School were 10-0 and state sectional champions. Upon coming to Central as freshmen, Fox took over the freshman job. I think they won 1 or 2 games, maybe. Then last year, politics landed Fox the head coaching job as the varsity team. As a result, 1-9. Central's problem is coaching, not the kids. Central has good athletes coming each year, then what? You know. I wasted my gas, time and money traveling to Happy Valley last night. Taking nothing away from Happy Valley, they looked good. At the same time, Central looked terrible. The quarterback couldn't throw the ball in the ocean if he was on the beach. The offensive and defensive line couldn't block a middle school team. Even, when Central had a chance to kick a field goal (good kicker this year), Fox went with a typical "middle school" call and go for it. How did that work out, NOT TO GOOD!! Take the 3, go up 3-0 and grab some momentum. Well, Central will get "out foxed" in every game this year. 0-10, yes they will!!!! Wake up Central and hire a staff and get the loser cougars back on track!! The kids deserve it.

DB usually has a pretty good team each year. However, playing teams in the big 8 is like playing all easy teams every week and finishing 10-0, then losing first or second round of the playoffs each year. DB maybe the best in upper east TENN but they can't hang with the Maryvilles, RedBanks and Riverdales. Don't kid yourself, DB is not "state" material. They proved that last night against Farragut who is a average team. 5 million dollar field house 2 million dollar turf field 100,000k coaches salary Losing first round of the playoffs each year.......priceless Roll Tribe.....ha ha!!!
