August 1st = rules meeting for middle Tennessee coaches. The meeting is at 5:30 at FRA.

How did the games in the district today come out?

Especially the game between Waverly and Sycamore. If the Lady War Eagles were victorious, they have wrapped up the number one spot for the district tournament.

Most of the high school fields I have seen in Middle Tennessee have a fence in front of the players for their protection.

I was going to update the district standings but didn't know if either of these games were played.

When I looked back at my notes the way you have it is the same way I had it wrote down. I just typed it incorrectly. My apologies to the Tigerettes of Waverly. They are 5-1 in district play.

Does anybody know how the district currently stacks up?

I think this is the way it is based on reported results.

1. Sycamore 8-0

2. Waverly 4-2

3. CreekWood 4-2 The game between CreekWood and Stewart Co. I do not know a result of. If this

has been played the Red Hawks are either 5-2 or 4-3.

4. Montgomery Central 4-4

5. Fairview 2-4

6. Stewart County 1-4 could be 2-4 or 1-5 depending on CreekWood game

7. Harpeth 1-5

8. Cheatham County 0-6

Sounds like it was a very well-played game between Waverly and CreekWood. As normal it sounds like Coach Webb had his squad ready to go. Wasn' t someone on here not too long ago saying Coach Webb needed to replaced? Has this helped change your mind on his status?

Well I ended up 4th out of the 43 participants. This is a much better finish than I thought I would have when I filled out my brackets. How did some of the rest of he participants fare?

With the Georgetown loss last night, I am down to just having Florida remaining in my bracket. I looked at the Yahoo site and it looks like only 2 or 3 participants have a chance to be the overall winner. Good Luck to those remaining with an opportunity to win.

Has Greenbrier started their search for the replacement for Coach Eidson?

Mandy is very deserving of this recognition. It has been a lot of fun to watch her take her game to a new level each of her four years at Harpeth.

This is quite an accomplishment for this list of young ladies. Keep up the good work on the field and in the classroom.

Thanks UTVOLS18 for setting this up for CoachT users. I have really enjoyed the tournament and this has added to my enjoyment of it.

According to what I read on the 11AA board Buckhorn, Alabama defeated Fairview in the Silver division.

I have three of the final four remaining in my bracket.

I see no harm in it. Some people's argument may be it is showing up the pitcher. I don't see it that way. I see it as congratulating a teammate on a nice accomplishment.

What is your connection to Pete Pullen? I am a former player of his from his days at Harpeh High School. I would also like to offer congratulations to Coach Pullen on his Ohio State Championship. How long has been the coach at Dunbar High? I wasn't sure he was still coaching. Thanks for sharing the information.
