1. Sorry no kids from South Fulton this year. Maybe we could get a 6'5' post player from Chicago or New York I mean since we have this great recruitng machine going on down here. I really am starting to believe you are a bit worried about the up coming season. Your confidence seems a little shaky.

2. The fact that we are even on your mind is enough for me. The third game was which was the District Championship was close until the refs decided (UC might win gotta stop this now) to open the gap from the free throw line about the 5:00 min mark of the 4th qtr. All the tactics that UC used that were a part of the game. The Lake Co girls are used to playing without any contact and the last time I checked basketball is a contact sport, all UC did was not let Lake Co. do what they wanted to do and until the refs started calling ticky tack fouls the Lake Co. girls began to fall apart, complain and whine about things not going there way. IUC was simply trying to play a style of basketball that would allow them to win the game. In earlier conversations we discussed the fact that UC should slow the game down and play half court bball. If the game is half court then there will be more physical contact in the game which Lake Co. doesn't like. That's what happened to Lake Co. at the State Tourney. UC is HUGE this year get ready for more basketball being played in the paint. If you have size you should use it to your advantage.
3. I'm glad that UC is on the minds of fans from other schools. That makes me feel like the Lady T's are moving in the right direction. Wonder what would happen if we actually won something. It is amazing to see that you really thought that much about Huff, let's see she was the third option that year to two freshmen, didn't even score double figures and she never played any defense. Looks like we got an upgrade from Huff with Reedy. Ray Charles could see that and he is blind, wore shades and is dead.
4. Is there a bit of concern in you last response about the UC team? Sounds like you might feel a litle threatened by Reedy playing for UC. As long as you know that Reedy moved from Gibson Co. to UC that is all that matters right, same as your Swift kid from Ky. If the Reedy girl moved to UC thinking she will win State, then Lake Co's. last chance at winning is spoiled by Reedy and Union City. Sorry:P
5. South Fulton is returning three starters from last year and have added some freshmen from their Middle School team. They are a team that plays very hard every night and if you don't come to play they can make you regret it.
6. I think that UC will be a very good team that could really make some noise, but to win 13A is impossible. Now 14A is an option that rest on UC and Lake Co. to fight for. The success rest completely on the shoulders of the Girls playing the game. The Girls on UC's team now are different from the UC teams of the past, they really created a buzz last season as a team of up and coming freshmen with a few seniors that were trying to maximize the moment and put it all to gethere after wasting their talent for three years. Freshmen are now spohs and experienced and redy to prove the years of the past are over and they can carry the load. Reedy makes UC a contender with her poise and experience the UC team of 2011-2012 should be one who could win any contest they are involved in. The skys the limit for the Lady T's and with a little luck the State tourney could be their destination.
7. Sounds like you are not to high on UC Coaching, do you think it will cost them in the end?
8. So are you picking Bradford and Lake. Co to be the teams to in District 14A?
9. I think Bradford, Greenfield, and South Fulton are a toss up. All three should be around the same level in the district standings. Bradford has a real deal player in Streets, South Fulton has a real deal player in Cross, and Greenfiled has quality players in their system, that makes them a threat.
10. Finally we can agree on someting. Union City and Lake Co. will have some gret games for the next few years.
11. Both Amber Fair and Jackie Hudson were freshmen, but you are refering to Amber Fair. Yes she is an awesome talent looking to see great things from her this upcoming season and in the near future
12. Will Dresden play any of the 14a schools?
13. Now I have looked through the last quotes and I do not see were the thought of UC trying to run with Lake Co. was mentioned. Lake Co. has a team of greyhound that can run all day. Why would anyone who has a team with the size of UC (like a Rottweiler) run with a running team, that is an unfair advantage. Now flip the scenario if you have a team with a lot of size it is unfair for the greyhounds to try to bang with them, it put's them at a disadvantage. Eddie Suiter has done a bang up job with the talent placed in front of him at UC. This will be his most talented team with all the key players returning as sophomores and juniors. So UC is kinda of like Lake Co. in the respect that they will be a good team for the next few years. I agree with GC Pioneer this is Lake Co. last chance to get a Gold Ball for a while and I am sure they hope they didn't waste the opportunity because it is very hard to get to state on back to back years. Greenfield where will you fall in all of this, seems like you are trying to down my high thoughts about UC. It’s like you hope UC will remain like the undisciplined teams of years past. Why is that, do you think your team will be able to beat UC or Lake Co.?<
14. Which Big Girl are you refering to; Amber Fair, Jackie Hudson, or Tory Reedy?
15. I think the other teams from 14 A might be able to put the pressure on Lake Co. This team has constantly come back to the pack. There will be four or five games that could lose in the District. The coach might be the reason for all that I don't know but the fact will still be they are Vulnerable this year.
16. All things being the same, do you think that the coaching issue could be a problem this year?
17. Bradford and Greenfield lost alot to graduation while Union City lost Huff who only contributed about 5 pts. a game. If Union City is the fav for the #2 spot then is the #3 spot wide open or will bradford be tops for that spot?
18. It would be unfair to try to compare Union City and Lake.Co. These two teams will be dynamically different. One team with size and oneteam with quickness. The only thing that brings up any questions about Lake Co.inherent dominance is the fact the Mr. Bigster brought up the comparison ofUnion City to the Humboldt team of a few years ago. If my memory is correctthat Humboldt team beat Lake Co. in the District Championship. Union City will have their shot at Lake Co. a few times this year hopefully the stars will lineup for us.
19. [quote name='GCPioneer' timestamp='1312768065' post='2653104'] Probably because she'll be playing as a sub for you know who. I'm not trying to start a big debate about who is better than who either by saying that. No offense, but TT is not going to get a bigger scholarship offer than UTM. If she does, congratulations to her! If she goes to UTM or anywhere bigger, she won't be in the starting 5 as a Freshman. If she goes to one of the NAIA's around here, she could very well be a starter as a Freshman. Greenfield, I wasn't really trying to compare Lake Co. and Union City. I just think that if anyone has a chance to beat them in the district, it'll be Union City. What does Greenfield have returning this year? I know they lost Galey and Randolph from last year, but I can't remember what underclassmen they had.
20. Union city has nothing to prove just a game to play. Good luck to both teams.
21. I think you might be placing to much stock in T.T. and Simone being able to guard Fair and Hudson. I agree Fair bringing the ball up the floor will wear her down but the same goes for T.T. and Simone having to guard those big girls all night long. Looking for a great couple of games between these two teams. I am pulling for UC to become the new force in District 14 A.
22. With that new addition in mind I think the size of UC will be a problem for most A schools, and with the Basketball IQ/pedgree that Reedy brings to that young team of mostly underclassmen Lake Co. will have to come to play every night against them or they could be in trouble. I am eager to see how well these new look tornadoes play this year and if they can turn the next page with fresh attitudes and hungry young talent.
23. Any thoughts on the District, will it be strong, weak, or a non-factor? What about Lake Co., Greenfield, Bradford, South Fulton, and Union City? Any thoughts?
