First of all 13th man I understand your frustration with WV they do not play like they did in the early Coady years. In those years Coady coached the line and he demanded perfection on every play. His intensity level was through the roof. When I say intense he bounced a ball off the Green Bays Pro Bowl Tackles head because he stepped with the wrong foot in practice. These kids today do not respond to that type of coaching so he has changed. I think Coady knows he has problems in the position you are talking about that is way he has used others like 8. After planning for him I think tries to coach with the best intentions for the team. I agree that the QB has not played as good as last years but he is getting better so give words encouragement. If Coady feels he needs to replace him, he will. He will let the best person play or he did when I played. No daddies had influence on our teams I don’t think that will ever happen. Westview needs a field. Paying 27,000 is ridicules. Martin gave UTM the land and raise money for that field with the understanding that Martin High School would use it. I say Martin take back the land and let UTM build their own field. Everyone that post how nice it is your tax money paid for it. So you should have every right to that field as your own. Charge a fee to use the field that everyone paid for is a rip off. Westview should be responsible for Friday night expenses and profit. UTM gets the rest.

Martin has a different look but still has players managing to give the ball to the other team for touchdowns. This team is one dimensional. Milan has seen WV play so they will stack the line. I would expect Coady to use #8 more at QB to try to get speed to the outside or off tackle. Milan will be ready for that. Milan will force WV to throw and our QB will fold under the pressure unless he finds some confidence. I hate to state the facts if WV throws the ball they will probable spot Milan 6. If WV wins it will be because of the defence. I’ll be happy if WV wins but I say Milan by 21.

I agree QB played better but he does not stay in the pocket and read. When he gets pressure he only focuses on the defense. I've seen him play every game and he is getting better. I think once the game slows down for him in his mind then he will really improve. That will only come with time and comfort level playing. Maybe if Coady adding some competition for that starting job may speed up his learning curve. Starting with the Ripley game if they don’t get offense going they will be in an emergency situation to make the playoffs. They will have to win out to control their fate.

This could be a close game. After watching what unfold last week with the QBs a little competition is good for the team. That may get all of them to play harder. WV gave the game away. I’m not say they would have beat OC but they would have had a chance. If Westview eliminates the mistakes I’ll take westview 21-14

I’ll say OC this week. WV running game improved last week against McK . The line still missed too many blocks and the passing game was none existing except for the int. Props to the defense this year so far they have only given up two touchdowns and one of those was after an int that gave McK 1st and goal on about the five. However I don’t think they will do this against OC. OC offense seems to be clicking early unlike WV. WV offense has got to score points to win.

To the point of QB hope Westview’s plays better than he did as the backup last year. Unfortunately for Westview with him at QB they have not scored a touchdown running or passing this year or last. I’m not saying it is his fault there are 10 other players out there also. QB is the focal point. Hope he can find confidence that the rest of the team will really around and start scoring.

Coady has other options at QB. But as much as I like him he will not use another. He is stubborn. What I saw was an offense that needs someone with confidence on the field. The running backs played will but Dresdens coach knew after the first couple of passes Westview was weak in that area. So at that point they start bring more people to stop the run. O-line can only handle so much with 5 guys up front. If they do not develop a passing game they will not win but one or two games. I would expect Coady at some point to try another QB if things continue like this or not even use a QB per say. He may use a cross between a running back/QB positions and will not pass at all. He will develop a speed sweep type offense. Whatever he does he will win he does not lose. The o-line has to get in better shape. They need to be prepared to run every down and block down field. Wow I think that 13thman is get what he wanted and that was a reaction from the fans. He has no clue about westview football. He never played their couldn't have or he or she would know coach coady only plays the hardest working players. As former player he is one of the best coaches around. 13thman get you head out of your dark hole and listen to this. THEIR IS NO GOOD OLE BOY SYSTEM THERE COACHES NEVER SHOW FAVORITISUM ALL PLAYERS ARE EQUAL GET LOST! Everyone else who you got Westview or Dresden?

2 years ago i saw westview play milan in a jv game and looked like they had some talent. the qb looked like a head hunt. is that the qb starting for westview now if so 13thman needs to watch more closely. that kid was good in jv.

Sounds like they my have had an off night friday. Hope it was just first game jitters and they preform up to their 7 on 7 record. I believe Coady will make the changes needed to win games if any.
