Southern Standard confirmed today that Matt Turner is indeed the new football coach at Warren Co. Congratulation Matt and wishing you great success.

My sources are telling me that Matt Turner was offered and has accepted the head coaching position at Warren County.

This is not meant to be critical of the coach or the team, just an observation. Warren Co only defeated 2 AAA schools this year, Smyrna, who went winless all season and Tullahoma who avenged that loss with their rematch later in the season. Hopefully this coach or the next coach can right the ship.

Reports today are that Warren Co. head coach Tom Moore is leaving to accept a similar position at an undisclosed location. Details to follow this week.

Tough season so far for Warren Co. Hopefully can get it together for tourney time.

Cody Robinson comes to mind. He signed with Duke a D1 school.
