Well, I've called two games too close to call for me this year, Westview and Obion County. We won both games, so I say it's too close to call for me. We should win now. Should really be a slugfest.

Glad we can do both!! I think we will get some yards on the ground. I only got to see Dresden for a half but the size of our line was impressive. They also looked like they moved well for their size. Should be two good weeks of football for Dresden fans. Win or lose I expect a couple dog fights.

I'm iffy on this game. I think an improved OC is going to give us fits. Not saying we will lose but I think this will be a battle.

He had 265 rushing vs Dresden. He also rushed for 168cagainst Dyersburg and  165 I believe against Obion Central. The kid is a tremendous back. He has rushed for quality yards vs 3 really good teams and put really big numbers the last 2 weeks. He is a workhorse also toting the football 43 times tonight, 41 times last week and 38 times vs Dresden. He has rushed for 1,337 yards in five games and scored 17 tds and over a dozen 2 pt conversions. The kid is having a very special season. If the Falcons were 5 and 0 or 4 and 1 he would be mentioned in 1A Mr. Football conversation. He has to be among the state leaders in the rushing and scoring departments.

Actually I don't think it was the stanks. Maybe Gleason but I cant remember. The tailgate made me blurry. I can tell you the ref though. He is still a DB.

I can tell you this for a fact Dresden doesn't get transfers ( we have a foreign exchange student from Germany this year). It starts with parents building a culture at a young age. Your youth programs are a pipeline to middle school and middle school to high school. Every successful Dresden teams has a group that has played together since flag football and I'm sure surrounding schools will say the same. So maybe it's not always at the high school level that's the problem want a better program start a better youth program and get DADS involved that want to help the future programs succeed and don't play daddy ball!!

Dad's at games can be problems at times. I had to sit next to Chuck West in the box for the second half one game when my son played. Turns out the frown at going to the visitors side to yell at the refs. It was just like I was in high school all over again. Nice view from the box though. lol
