I was wondering how long that one would take... chatter around Kingsport has him at DB, although Clark hasn't gone/isn't going anywhere and Rankin's job will go to Caine Ballard. Same old song...

The rumblings I hear is Catholic or CAK. Ive not heard DB. I figured the private schools would grab him, that is even if he does go anywhere.

First off I want to give much respect to BOTH Maryville and Riverdale Programs for being POWERS in Tenn. High School Football since the 90s, BUT I must ask, why are yall on here talking so much about Food? LOL

I think its just common sense if you are traveling to an area your not familier with you would like to know about good places to eat. The stadium has chick fil a and papa johns, also

I was very happy and excited to see the turnout in the visitors stands. Thats the biggest crowd we've seen in a while. Im glad Sevier Co supports their Bears as any school should. Its a shame to see the visitors side half empty especailly in the playoffs.

Could someone from Riverdale give us an update on your QB? What happened? I certainly hope that he is ok...

Just down the road from Aubreys is Smoky Mountain Brewery which is pretty good. Also next to it is Marlins and Rays, a seafood place recently opened by the same folks that run Ruby Tuesday.

The Brewery is very good Riverdaleman. The Burger is one of the best ive ever had. I hope your QB isnt hurt and gets a good Mri report.

I would agree Sevier Co. has a very explosive offense and this will be a good test for our secondary. I really believe with the pressure we will get up front that #29, #17, #1, #20 will have some chances for INT's. I also think that our offense should have some explosive plays, for the most part of our schedule all of our points came in the 1st half.....our avg points per game would have been well above 50 if GQ had not put the brakes on early in a lot of our games. Numbers do not lie, with Starsnbars cyferin 4mula I predict a Maryville victory. Looking forward to hearing from the WOOOOO CREW often...

Stars, seems crazy to me that Murvil isn't packing the Black Hole for these playoff games. I know it was packed when we came down to play. What do you think is going on there? Do you think maybe the fans didn't come because they knew you would cream Science Hill? Those games are fun too. What do you think the deal is. Has anybody told Mike Strange it's Murvul, not Merry-ville?

Kat, thats excatly the reason the first two rounds arent packed. Those games are fun to us "faithful, Maryville Mafia" because we like seeing the future of our team and we love the game. But most people dont want to see the gut stompings.

I think Oak Ridge has a chance. We are underdogs for sure, but we have a chance. Sevier County, not so much. Nothing against Sevier County, they've had a great year and they are an excellent team, but seriously. Have you seen this Maryville team play?

I think the stands will be full. People knew the last two games were gonna be blowouts. Only the faithful come to see those trainwrecks.

The TSSAA website explains where the games are played. It rotate even/odd years. Maryville/Riverdale (if it happens) will be played at Maryville because the team on top of bracket hosts on odd years.

Well still waiting how many 6A teams did ya play this year? They have 1 6A state championship out of the 2 that have been played and NO 5A state championships get that NONE!!!!And the one they won 2010 was because Smyrna's center rolled the ball back to the holder with 1 minute left in the game for a 14 yard go ahead field goal. Yes they won not dominated at all like you all think. Yes there is no dought, Maryville has a good football program but it is not as dominating as you make it out. I made no excuses last year when they beat Smyrna I congratulated them and asked them to grill my crow and will do the same this year if they win!!!!

I dont see how Maryville is a Knoxville area school since we are in Blount County.

From what I have heard, you all have already done it....you are just going to have to wait until the playoffs are over for it to be made public. I think if I were the higher ups, I would go ahead and announce that Meadows was out.
