  1. Everyone knows that teams progress as the season goes on. So the first two weeks, the defense struggled with some of their young guys, and guys returning from injuries last year.

    so

    35-Unacceptable, won't happen again.

    35-Unacceptable, won't happen again.

7-The STarting Defense only gave up 0 points.

0- Again. 0. That means they couldn't score.

    0- Thats 0. Again.

20- they only gave up 7 In regulation. It's hard to stop teams from the 10 in OT...everyone knows that.

10- The Defense gave up 3...after the Ravenwood offense started in FG range after a turnover. SO really, 0.

And you can add a 0 onto that from this week.

Thats an average of 10 points a game the starters have given up in regulation. Since week 3, an average of 1.6 points....

    Yep, pretty sure they Suck!

Wow, 35 is still 35 no matter how you want to spin it and let's face it you have not played many teams with a good offense. I like your take on the ravenwood game the 3 really should be a 0 ( guess you tell your friends that the girl you pulled was a 2 but she really should be a 10..)

It's good masheen, I enjoy your posts and some smack talk is fun.

Don't be too overconfident with indy this year that's all i have been saying, they don't have the weapons on O but they sneak up on you

Be more worried fhs if you can score on indy

As I stated before the first quarter for indy is the key. If they turn the ball over or if fhs puts up some TD's early I think it gets into indys head and it will be a long long game.

From what I hear from indy is they have a good game plan in place.this week

  2. No, what's a joke is Indy's offense. If Franklin QB is only kinda good and he's got a D1 offer and numerous other D1 looks I would love to hear your assessment of Indy's quarterback, or any other player in the district for that matter (him and Foster are the only 2 I know of with D1 offers). If you had actually watched the Rebels this year, I think your comments might be a little different. To say the QB has no around him is an ignorant statement, as the Rebels return nearly all of their main playmakers (including their top 2 receivers) back from last year aside from their running back. And the running back they have this year is averaging over 100 yards a game so I don't think they are lacking in talent their. Does the Franklin offense have a major problem with penalties or turnovers? Yes. Are they an offense Indy should not worry about? No. As a Franklin fan, I hope Indy will overlook them.....they will lose by 20. The Indy defense better be well prepared next Friday because I don't see Indy's offense putting up more than 3 against a stout Rebel defense.

your wrong when you state FHS should not worry about the InDY offense- no INDY does not have the razzle and dazzle but they are clicking of late on O and you are WAY wrong when you say the stout Franklin D- Yes your D is good but the stout Defense is from INDY.... I have talked to a few of the local experts from the Wilco area and they say that they D of INDY is for real and that good- in -fact coach S from Blackman again commented on the INDY D this week

    lets see FHS

    PA

    35

    35

    7

    0

    0

    20

    10

the gooseegs are the powerhouses of boro and McGavock

lets look at yards allowed PG for REBS

    pass rush

  4. Wont give a score yet caus we have to worry about another team this weak (no worries though). Rebels cant wait for next week.

Rebel D too much for a bad offense. Those Eagles have not seen a offense that throws the ball like the REBS and our QB.

Game wont be as close as you guys think!

grasshoper - correct FHS has to take care of biz this week, wrong about all the rest of your playful banter....

Indy offense is not as bad as you and some others may think . . . it get the job done and has a very good running game that wont stand out , but gets it done - now yes the key as i mentioned is INDY needs to complete some passes and cant afford 2 plus INT's if it wants to win. . . We may have not seen a QB like Matt, but you have not seen a team get to a sack a QB and a secondary like INDY...

I counted out INDY before the seaon and you FHS folks are as well , but be careful of this team...

another key to this game is if FRANKLIN scores early - will it get in INDYS head of years gone past ????

Yikes , i am afraid if this does happen 34 - 3 FHS

But i see INDY ggoing against the odds like they have all season - EAGLES SOAR 20 - 10

  5. So the big game is upcoming and I will be the first to admit applause to INDY and Coach Dyson, you have surprised me and a few others -

alot of thought has gone into the INDY vs. Franklin game and some of it i already posted but it finally hit me

    HOW indy CAN WIN...

    1. Thier QB tandem of Thompson/Swaze are the key - they must be able to pass the ball and get some yards on the ground...Now i am not talking 200 plus yars in the air but enough to keep the sticks moving and the Rebs D honest.. Also can some one tell me how many INT's Indy has thrown this year??? Or INT's to pass attempts ?

If they throw 2 INT - Franklin wins

    2. If FHS gets up early in the game will they get into the EAGLES head

    go INDY !!!!!

  6. How bad was coffee county? For a mediocre Indy offense to hang 68 points on them they must have been atrocious. The real measure for Indy will be when they play Franklin, and I just don't think they have the offense to hang with the rebels right now. Their defense is one of the best around, second only to Franklin and the Rutherford county schools. Their defense will keep them in the game against FHS, but their offense doesn't have the firepower to do much on a Franklin defense that held Smyrna to 7 points in regulation (that lone touchdown coming on a short field after a fumble, I might add). The fact is Indy hasn't scored on Franklin in three years, and their offense hasn't improved too much from last year. Indy has jumped Brentwood in the district this year, but they have not reached Franklin's level just yet.

Hold on thier sparky , you say FHS has a better defense then indy? Say Stars and and Commandos putting up some 65 pts total

Rebs have a good 'D' but edge to Indy , recall 14 pts versus the I train , and look what the blaze have been putting on the scoreboard, and how bout the bruins offense indy shut them down and BHS offense has been clicking ..

I agree bout indy offense not as good as FHS , but your team has not been an offensive force either, but it still outshines the eagles.

Indy can run the ball very good by committee but look at thier qb passing stats plain horrible. However when Thompson or swayze connect its for a long one or TD........

If indy can get to Matt often and your o line breaks down , well it could then go indys way...

Sarah palin told me her PREDICTION : its FHS vs INDY and I am used to beatdown and a goose egg on the scoreboard ..

However folks, indy has proved me wrong all offseason and to date, so look for a close one but a late FG by Indy gets the win and the crown

  7. Kind of wondering where Palin's posts have been?? Anyone? Anyone? Buehler? Buehler?

hey fuzby /sarah palin did attend Notre Dame ( Hint )

As mentioned i will be the first to give INDY props as I was one whom questioned Dysons ability ( sorry i STILL do however )

  8. That is the biggest bunch of bull I have ever heard!!!! So sick of the whining I hear from y'all!! The Bruin defense had no answer for Janerio Perry. Long int, long td pass, it could have happened all night!! There was not a kid on the Brentwood team that could keep up with him. Plain and simple, the Brentwood coaches utilize this "oh I am hurt" to stop the clock. Kids roll around acting like they are dying, then 3 plays later return to the lineup. I have seen it every time they come up here!! That kid had the EMT's, both trainers, and an ambulance out on the field, only to get up with no help and walk off the field. That is ridiculous! I remember the Brentwood kicker a few years ago that faked getting hit (replay shows no contact) then getting carried off the field only to run back on the field and kick a game winner after a false penalty. Those Bruins are going to be very sore this week after all those hits they took.

Now on a good note. That #6 is a heck of a runner. He shed so many tackles and always got postive yardage. QB had an awesome fake. I lost the ball several times. However, he lacked in the passing game but I think that was due to great coverage. Heard a lot about the kicker....wasn't impressed. Defense that never gave up the big play. Didn't see that. Receivers did a great job of hiding their holding. I haven't seen that much holding in a long time.

wait this is the same green wave team that got how many suspended for a fight in pre-season -

Gallatin didn't show much and really didn't have to. Very basic on offense and it worked. Nice kickoff return by Manning, Carnes had 2 picks but still was solid. Defense once again buckled down and stopped a team when they had to. Just can't play too conservative.

Radio and Murphy, no respect for Gallatin. Sure we all will get a good dose of the Bruin "whine" in the paper in the morning.

wait this is the same wave team that got how many suspended for a pre season fight - Crawfords boys are first class compared to your thugs..

wave equals one and done per the norm

  9. I watched the film from CHS vs Overton and saw the Indy vs Centennial game. Centennial has improved greatly now does that mean Indy is for real no the Indy offense gave away too many turnovers and thus caused their offense to score easily. The only thing Centennial has is athletes for their wr's and cb's which kept them in the game. If Indy can get the qb's and wr's connected during the rest of the season then they can very well go to round 3 I think. Defense wins championships but a interception giveaway offense ruins a defense.

Indy - yes I knew they were going to good on defense this year , but to date they have been outstanding...

I applaud INDY for what they have done so far, BUT ...but a few things still make me think -

Did they catch Blackman sleeping in week 0 ? No the defense stood toe to toe vs. the I-train and they should have won the game

Did they catch a break with a brentwood team that overlooked Indy ? ( keep in mind Brentwood has been scoring alot of pts of late ) I will let you answer that one....

the schedule favored indy with page & coffee Co.

you can say that it also favored them with CHS and Lincoln Co.

the defense is for real , and it will make INDY a tough draw for any team come playoff time

HOWEVER as good as the INDY defense is and Foster being able to kick 40 plus yard feel goals at will IT can very well lose a first round playoff game 7 - 3 ......

They are doing a good job running the ball by commitee but dont have a featured back that can hurt you - AND the REAL SCARY part is thier QB play ( passing ) to me this will be INDYS downfall when they play FHS
