East Hickman Eagles completed a perfect season last night, putting their record at 10-0, and becoming the first team in East Hickman County history to go undefeated in the season and win the MTAC Championship. A collection of hard working and physically gifted young men such as these is not likely to be seen again soon. Of course having 25+ eighth graders is something any middle school coach would envy! I truly believe the second best team in the conference could have been fielded from the non-starters on the Eagles sideline. This embarrassment of riches would have been useless without quality leadership. Coach Harris and his staff have for years gotten the most out of their teams, so I'd be lying if I said the championship was a shock to me. Thank you Coach Harris and the entire staff of the 2011 EHMS Eagles!!!!!
