Forgive the man, all stumble & fall short of the glory of Jesus. Sometimes we fail to notice or mention that many of the men of the Bible had numerous 10,20,30 wives,etc with God's blessing, at least that's what I seem to read. Kinda hard, useless or unnecessary to commit adultery or solicit when a man has 20+ wives. However this is a serious matter and is definitely not something that should be condoned in this day & time. Pray for him & his family at this time of tribulation. God will see you through.

DII State Championship is a joke. DII AA begins with only 12 teams(12 teams people)in the entire bracket. And four of the twelve had losing records and one was 5-5. Need to be called the Mini Championship. A State championship should require at least a 32 team bracket minimum with all teams .500 or better. Shouldn't be recognized/mentioned as a State Champion

Is Grace Christian not the best single A team. I see they beat both SP and CAK. To quote the famous Roy Dillard "you think i'm joking but i'm not". What's up with them

Just read the article in the Jackson Sun about the game last night. The coach for Adamsville stated ""Our hats are off to Dresden because they played a great game," Gray said. "They got some long passes on us because they ran four receivers out, and we were in a Cover-3."You can't cover four with three, and their guy did a good job of hitting the open man.".[/b] Defensively I've never heard cover three being run like that, three defenders covering 4. A typical Cover 3 would seem to be an effective pass defense in this situation.I would think what cover three for ninety-nine percent of defenses would be an excellent defense with not 3 covering 4 but 3 safeties dropping their thirds, you would think you're covered deep but vulnerable to the run, draws, screen game and maybe underneath but definitely not deep. Sounds like a backyard cover 3

Fine season Covington. West Tn football is down this year,unlike any before, but you still shined. Enjoyed watching you guys battle tonight against definitely the best team and defense you faced all year. Also finally thanks to the Covington radio station for carrying your game, got to listen to much of it online while @ the game tonight. Also thanks to one of your coaches Coach Peggy Barber for her coaching and inspiration. You guys couldn't of done it without her. you better belee that. I would classify Henry County as a Middle Tn team as well. West Tn quality way way down this year. May even be for the whole state, haven't seen any middle or east teams play this yr, however I know W. Tn's quality is way down. Whitehaven only chance for wt

Best game in the state tonight will be Henry County vs Hendersonville followed by Whitehaven vs Mt.Juliet.

Felt all year, football was down as a whole in W. Tn.. Tonight the end of the line. If one team makes it to the finals it will be the weakest team I have ever seen into the finals. Competition has really been weak. Entire district has been untypically weak. Have yet to see a Championship caliber team this season. We'll see tonight.

CC prolly 75% Caucasian school & team Covington prolly 50/50 school wise, team wise prolly 40% caucasian Both just an estimate guess As for the seating @ Covington, visitor side much larger than Chester's visitor side prolly 12-15 rows deep length of the field. Bout the same for Home side, but maybe 15-20 rows. Plenty of standing room.

Should someone notify the tssaa that they have made a mistake it's not Covington it's C.Williams. It shouldn't be listed Covington in the brackets, etc. It should be C. Williams, as the C.Williams people continue to insist. So cross out Covington in the brackets and replace with C.Williams. C.Williams vs Dyersburg, Obion County and CC. Oh wait he hasn't been playing, so why is he continued to be discussed. He's not playing and will not be playing. Discuss and recognize the guys playing and contributing. Reiterate,knew it was about time for the C. Williams camp to surface again

Going for two chances are probably less than 50% at best. PAT prolly 90%+ on good coached team. As so teams choosing 50/50 are often going home. Very good game by both sides, just hate to see it end on the last play call. OC's strength was through air and at best something straight ahead or PA.

As expected Covington took it. Thought OC kids responded well. Think their coach definitely hurt them numerous times, very poor judgement calls. Lucky to not have cost them in regulation several times. Poor play selection, unsound strategy on several occasions. Good game however but appeared OC was gaining the advantage late only to have it gone on one play. Tough loss for the kids. As for video Covington made, thought was reprehensible. Kids being kids is one thing, but adults involved should know better. Let me correct,Covington took it is not the right wording, they survived. Good game hate to see one lose.

OK Covington. You have to be getting enough of this. Every week the C. Williams people keep throwing the he's coming back BS. Instead of the players getting the job done being the focus let's once again make it about C.W.. Give credit where the credit is due, the players getting it done.

OC responds 7-7 @ end of 1st. OC still dropping numerous passes. Not used to playing tackle football going against their defense in practice.

Covington scores easily on their first possession following OC fumble. 7 zero within first 3 minutes of game

Covington will score early and often. Advances with ease.Exposes defense or lack of again. 48-17.

Covington won't need Williams the way OC doesn't tackle. Covington advances with him or without him. Don't think it's a good decision for him to play and risk his bb future. However he, his family and the coaches see no harm playing against OC, they won't tackle him and they are not physical at all. Now to support my proclamation that Obion doesn't play defense and will not tackle. Watch this clip on Youtube. After watching this you may see why he wants to play. Search Obion vs Covington and watch the clip on Youtube. It looks like Coivington is playing against a middle school team. Watch the backs they don't even get touched, Obion players are taking dives to avoid contact. Not one or two , numerous guys. They are running free with no resistance. The defenders not even getting blocked they just don't wanna tackle. The backs aren't big,not exceptional, just OC's defense is non existent, will not tackle, not even touching them. No wonder where these kids got their confidence. Watch you'll be amazed. Watch and give your thoughts. Am I accurate or exaggerating. It is unbelievable. Look for your self.
