That's fair enough. I hope Lexington is fortunate enough to beat a good team twice in North Side. I know they are itching for a rematch against Hardin County. I'm not so sure Hardin County is going to get a win against Memphis east.I hope they do maybe it will quiet them boys in Memphis down. At first they were all riding ridgeway's coat tails all the way to Cookeville. They were giving Lexington no chance. Now that they are out of the picture everyone is jumping back on the east bandwagon. They give region seven no respect. They better recognize and come ready to play against Hardin or they will be running home with their tails tucked between their legs making excuses the whole way.

Lexington will bring the town. That I can assure you.

I'm Not going to speak on behalf of North Side. I will give you a break down of how i see lexington in these categories. Offense: When lexington runs the ball most of the time we are getting positive yards. They run hard and downhill. The passing game is coming together, but is not where it needs to be. If we keep Tisdale in the backfield we will put points on the board. I will give the offense a 4. Defense: Lexington's defense is on the ball quick. They get good penetration off the line. If North Side can get to the outside they can make big gains. I don't think North Side will have much luck trying to run up the middle. Lexington's pass defense has struggled in the past but are getting better. I also give the defense a solid 4. Special teams: This is where it gets interesting. Lexington has a great kicker and can get the ball in the end zone most of the time. When he can't get the ball in the end zone is when things go wrong. If North Side gets the opportunity to return the kickoff i would almost bet they are getting to at least the 30 yard line every time. He is a good punter as well, but just like kickoffs our coverage isn't great. Special teams is a 3. Coaching: Hollingsworth is a great coach and has them boys ready every week. They put in the work every week and it shows on Friday nights. The players believe in the coaching staff and do what they are asked. They have made strides over the past 5 or 6 weeks and I believe that's in part because of coaching. Therefore coaching gets a 4. Discipline: This is where Lexington really shines. They know what to do on each play. I haven't seen many busted plays by lexington. They protect the ball very well. They don't get unnecessary penalties. Every so often one of the guys will get antsy and jump offside. Discipline gets a strong 4.

I remember this. It was one heck of a turn around for Liberty. It was actually 42-18. I'm not sure if that's any better. I don't think that will be the case here. I'm expecting a very close hard fought game. Lexington's defense has impressed me lately even against Ridgeway's speed.

How is Lexington not the better team? Northside has more talent, but Lexington is the better TEAM! I do expect this game to be closer than the first time around. I'll say 28-21 Lexington.

Lexington plays hard-nosed football. They played their hearts out. I'm proud of my tigers. They were out talented, but they would not be out played.

It happens. It really was one heck of a game. The coach was yelling at some of the players after the game for not getting in line to shake hands. Much respect to the coaching staff at Ridgeway. They have a ton of good athletes, but lexington played great as a team.

Lexington 7 Ridgeway 7 at the half. Lexington has missed two field goals. Ridgeway hasn't looked very dominant to me.

Ok every point those apposing teams you listed scored. They scored them on our 3rd string every one of those games would have been a shut out if the starters had stayed in. There may have been one touchdown scored on the starters in a game can't remember which one. I never said that they were quality opponents. I simply said they have been playing good ball. I get that ridgeway is fast and has a lot of talent. Northside is fast and has a lot of talent. They also had a tough time against lexington. If you plan on this being an easy win i think your mistaken. I may be wrong, and i will be the first to admit it if i am. I may also be a little partial toward my team. Then again who isn't. Yes ridgeway has played a much much tougher schedule than lexington. that will have them battle tested and ready. so advantage there. I don't know how disciplined ridgeway is, but lexington has been playing almost mistake free football. Lexington's line will probably not match up very well in size, but they are quick to the ball. Lexington is far from the fastest team ridgeway has seen all year, but are solid as a unit. Lexington is not used to playing on the turf. I don't know about ridgeway. I'm sure how much difference that will make. This should be a very physical game. Hope it is injury free and hard fought good luck to both teams.
