Yea I would think he would be at the top of somebody's list. He has been successful everywhere he has been. His first job was at TCA as OC when Hodum became the head coach there. I may be wrong but when they got there, I don't think TCA had ever won a district game or had a winning season. They took them to the playoffs their first year and made the quarters like 2 or 3 years later. You also have to take into account that he has been a head coach. He was a head baseball coach for 8 years. Played baseball for UT.

After the JCM debacle, I know McCauley did apply for MC job when he was looking. What I don't know is why he didn't get it! Did MC just go with the other guy or did Coach Mac turn it down for whatever reason. Mac is back at NS where he helped to build the program they have now (he has been there for 10 or 11 yrs, 1 yr stint at Chester), his wife is a counselor there; would probably take a lot to get him away from there! But obviously he was looking to be a head coach or there wouldn't have been a JCM debacle, so who knows.

I can easily see this game being 28-7! North Side's young team is much better and Lexington is still doing what they always do!

This game is a toss up. Its athletes versus the grind. North Side played horrible in their first meeting. This young team is better now. Will they be good enough? I think they will win by two scores. 28-14 is my prediction. NS defense is very good. They hold them to 2 scores, they win.

Once again DHS, you are very right so could you please encourage the Milan faithful to toot their horn within the right forums, cause they are not welcome under the umbrella of best in the west!!! To me they are very similar to USJ and TCA.

My only point is that Milan, over the past 5 years, could have found out what they are made of by trekking 20 miles down 45 and they took the easy route, but still claim to be the west tn bell cow when everyone knows that league has been weak as water! I guess I'm prejudice for NSHS and LIBERTY but the cow has been there!!!

I apologize for my aggressiveness, but Milan is no longer the Bell Cow when it comes to the best team in West Tn. I was just trying to motivate Milan to step up and quit hiding behind a weak history!

Are you a Milan supporter thru and thru? If yes, then my claim is with you! Play North Side every year so they can buy pads for their players!!! Next year if there is No JCM, I'm sure that North Side would love to play MILAN!!!!

Bottom line, I just hate Milan football today! You've been sitting in that weak #### 3A league, claiming that you're the west tn bell cow, but I know for a fact that North Side has been trying to get you on the schedule for years, in order to help their gate to make some money for their program. MILAN SAID, "No Thank You!" Weak!!! 20 minutes away and haven't played, since when???

I realize you're from Milan but you're making the rest of us in West Tn look bad! Either get it right or call in to your local radio station! We're trying to get out of a stigma!

Im sure North Side will be pretty flat in this game since its at Home, while they try to avenge their only district loss in a game they played terrible in, and the opportunity to advance in the playoffs! SMH. Thats not a why, but thanks for posting. Im sure North Side wants this rematch. Lexington is not the better team and Im sure NSHS wants to prove it so Im sure they will be pretty "pumped" too!

I said 3 7-4A teams would win and thought Haywood would give East a game! I believe I was spot on! You Memphis folks need to recognize west tn football is no joke. I'm sure you guys will now come on here and say how down Ridgeway is! SMH!!! Nice job7-4A!!!
