Giles Co's defensive lined owned the game and the battle of the big men all night. Db's played soft and gave up a lot of yards. Giles line shut down the EH run game. EH qb was impressive at times yet missed several big plays. Giles Offense was average tonight but made plays when they had to.GC had some dumb penalties while EH got flagged about half of the spearing infractions they did. Flags gave EH their first two scores and aided GC on one. Remove all the flags and GC still wins...simple as that. Both played hard EH had their chance at the end, no flags played a part, GC simply played better at the end. Good luck to bot in the future.

I have seen GC and many of the best teams in middle TN this year. Siegle, Riverdale, Columbia, Blackman and several others. GC can play with any of them. Atheletes cover the field for them and they hustle as well as any team in the state. The QB is impressive, 1 because he is good, 2 because he gets to throw to the leading reciever in the state along with a complementing wide out that that would be the number one guy on most teams. Big slot man and a tight end that catches everything. For EH to win GC will have to be mediocre which they haven't so far and EH will have to be better than they were with Jackson. Good luck to all.

Crazy! That's 25 percent of their starters. What level does it put them at if you increase their student count by 25 percent. They clearly shouldn't be in 4a. Sounds more like 6a or at least 5a. No way they should be in the same district with the county schools. Don't have to look anyfurther than MoWest t figure out why they don't want to do that. By the same count the county schools are virtually playing up when considering player should be at their schools but they aren't Figure one player for every 20 students and it's clear how most of the schools in Greene County are misaligned. Greeneville gets to play down while the others pay the price.

Privates and open zoned schools. Pick up 5 players and not have to worry about the other 45 that would be at the school to in fact change their classification. Get ready! Factoring up open zoned schools will be considered in the next reclassification
