  1. WONG....i'm starting to think you have something personal against us over here in Lexington, or maybe it's just something against LHS2012. Most of our fans are very proud of our team, but also very humble. I actually attended the Glies Co- Lexington play-off game back in 2009, and you guys handed us a good butt-kicking that year. Our seniors were sophomores that year and have grown as a unit the past two seasons. We do have a very talented team here, and I'm proud of what they have accomplished. I'm looking forward to seeing them hopefully advance to the finals this postseason. It will be a tough road, but I think they have the team that can get there. On another note...I was very impressed in '09 with the facilities you guys have there, and it was a great atmosphere for HS football. One thing that stuck out to me, outside of the game itself, was the great sound system you had over there. Best of luck to your team in the playoffs.
  2. Lhs2012...though I don't always agree with how you go about things on here, that response is hilarious
  3. I know these threads are created to give fans a chance to cheer on their teams, and in some cases to add a lil hype and humor to the upcoming match-ups, but how can anyone possibly be serious in predicting Page to beat Lexington. I'm an honest fan, and I have been to every single game this year, so I know we have flaws, like all teams....but guys give me a break... There is no way that anyone with any football sense could predict that outcome. The stats won't predict it, the records of both teams speak for themselves, and Page will be coming into a very hostile enviroment. As long as the Tigers play good defense, and stay focused, there's not a chance Page leaves this place with a 'W'. And that's coming from a fan that typically strays away from making bold statements against our opponents.
  4. I was at the game last night between Lexington and Bolivar. It appeared to me that we came out very flat for some reason. Credit is given to Bolivar for playing a great game. I will make no excuses for the LHS Tigers...for most of the game, Bolivar out-played us on the line. Our offense struggled to find a rhthym, after we scored early off a turnover. The remainder of the first 3 quarters appeared to have everything go Bolivars way. Lexington turned the ball over at least twice on fumbles, and everytime Bolivar put the ball on the ground, they would recover their own fumble. Bolivars offense managed to move the ball efficiently. Their tailback, #36, is a very quick and slippery kid. Their offense is very balanced with some good skill athletes. They are not however, as good as either Liberty or Chester County. Now, let me give credit to our Lexington Tigers....regardless of their play early in game, they did manage to put two drives together, late in the game, to seal a victory. I was one of many in the crowd that was shocked by the game being so close, but proud of our guys for never quitting until tte final second ticked off the clock. I am hopeful that this was just an off week for our kids and that we will respond this next week in practices and play like are capable of next Friday and then gear-up for the playoffs. Go Big Red
