Very valid point with him winning in college, but I believe that the teams he had were more capable of running a actual offense and not a stand around while one person creates.

Greenbrier gets last in the district for the 2nd year in a row after a district championship the previous year. Has the past two groups of kids been bad or is it the coaching?

This is the same offense that led to the teams' demise last season.

Caught the Sycamore vs. Greenbrier game tonight. I must say Greenbrier really did surprise me at the start of the game with their defense even with no 6 footers for them on the court. Both teams palyed hard, but were really sloppy with the ball. Sycamore took over in the last 12 minutes. Where was Peach tonight? Final Sycamore 61 Greenbrier 41.

My mid-season picks are: 1. Macon County 2. Sycamore 3. Greenbrier 4. White House 5. Goodpasture 6. Westmoreland I still believe 2-5 is a toss up.

Congrats to GB for pulling off a BIG win vs. Jo Byrns. It looks to me that GB is setting themselves up for failure once again this season by scheduleing single A teams and bottom of the pack AA teams while others in the district are being tested by East Lit, Livingston Academy, Kenwood, Station Camp, and other good programs. I strongly believe come time for district play this GB team will do the same thing as last year because they are not being challenged by good teams. The recored might look good at 5-1 but these are teams you SHOULD beat by 20 not 4.

Ok let me take some time out of my busy day to explain to you why I stated what I did before as these are not 'quality wins'. Goob states in the frist quote that this year is looking 'dismal'. Venomenom replys in the second quote that Goob isn't paying attention to the year; which I take into content as he believes these are actually 'quality wins'. The third quote by bobcatfan88 just sounds cocky to me. C'mon man READ FOR UNDERSTANDING. And oh yeah I could take your g-mama and your little freshy to the rack all day, speed kills!

Holy basketBALLS are you serious right now? You think that these are quality wins? Please!! I'll give credit for the win agains Harpeth, that was actually a surprise to me. For the Stratford win, it came in crunch time but this game should have been a blowout. Stratford is easily in the bottom 2 or 3 teams of 10aa and GB is probably about 4 or 5 in 9aa. Looks to me that these two districts will not match up well when it comes time for regions. GB needs to improve alot over the season; and with the competition they are playing leading up to district games doesn't seem to me that they will improve much at all. The Bobcats have potential on this team with their senior class led by Peach and Holbert, bench will need to provide solid minutes also.

First off this team will be lead by Connor Peach. Peach will lead 9aa in points this year as long as Grace is actually guarded this year. As for the 'guard' Tacker he has nothing but speed off the ball. If I rember correctly he didn't make but maybe one 3 all last year. I still see GB with a few surprise W's this year in district.
