Yea and was'nt it last week Hixson recovered 6 fumbles, but yet only won by (1) i repeat (1) point tells me alot about their offense. Does it tell anyone else anything about their offense?

Like I said im sorry for what happened to your son snd if the band did not do what is written on here the I appologize for being wrong. Well if thats what happened then it should be reported to TSSAA and if it is found to be true the coach and his staff should be FIRED. You know I heard that the coach at CC was an ex marine if he is then that pittiful because I know the marines didn't teach him to cheat like that.

Glover that is very disrespectful what someone did to your child. I myself have a son with cerbal palsy would be mad also and I would be looking for answer. I am a DeKalb fan and Im sorry this happened at our field. The person that did this should feel ashamed of their self. Once again sorry that it happened here at DeKalb along with the band members being direspectful also some thing should be done about it all.

Well I read it and seen the other team fumbled 6 times. Any team that fumbles 6 times should loose. And the other team should win recovering all 6 fumbles. And your point is???? That you all can win when another team fumbles the ball alot. And you all had (6) fumble recoviers and only win by (1) point.

I guess when you have to blame a lose on someone you blame it on our PA announcer. Well let me explain something to you. Are PA guy does it for free unlike most announcers in this district who charge to do it, our PA guy does not. He had his back broke and has rods and all in his back and neck and just loves to be around football. He cant run the sidelines like he use to or jump up and down when a good play is made. So before you jump on and talk smack about the guy maybe you should get to know him cause he is one cool guy. He does it for our high school our middle school and our jr. pro. This man has been through alot in his life time more then anyone would know because I know he keeps alot inside of him people dont even know about... And with the holidays comming on and him and his family on a limited income it's even harder for them. So the next time your kid(s) are playing or your girl(s) are cheerleading you should ask yourself is the PA announcer doing this for the kids or for the money. The DeKalb announcer does it for the kids. What does your announcer do it for???

Whats wrong with your QB I wondered my self I guess thats what you get when you go get a QB from brentwood and not trusting the up and comming QB you already had.

As are PA guy did also and the 80% of fans you are talking about must be on the LOSING OWLS side. And atlease our fans dont run the kids from the band off the bleachers just so they can sit down that was awful.

Yes your announcer did a good job last night tell him not to listen to the Smith County comments. Smith County needs to go back home and come Monday ask their parents and their fans why they made their band members leave last night the kids work hard to be in the band and they left before halftime and didnt even get to perform for their fans. And then they need to asked their selfs what went wrong cause it sure was'nt the announcer that made them loose the game.

I thought the announcing was good he called it right and yes he showed a little more home-tism towards DeKalb then Smith but what announcer doesn't ive been to alot of games around here and he seems to be the better announcer out of the district and if he is doing it for free then hey man thats great and more power to him doing it for the kids. If your trying to blame Smith's lost on the DeKalb announcer then your wrong. DeKalb closed Smith down in the 2nd half and they played a good 2nd half. Good game DeKalb you deserved to win.

Just wanted to say it was a good game tonight and DeKalb was nervous at first but settled down in the 2nd half and came out and played Tiger ball. Our defense played good and our offense controled the 2nd half. Not sure what happen between Smith countys band and some fans but if the fans ran them off like someone on here said then yes they should be ashamed of their selfs. The band is as much a part of that team as the cheerleaders and players are. Good Luck to Smith County the rest of the season and to Manning their running back this is the first time I seen him and the young man is good and has a great potential. And to the DeKalb Tigers you all play great as a team keep up the good playing.

Cannon County or TSSAA needs to have a talk with the guy doing their announcing. You never announce of the P.A. that another team was flagged for CHEATING. It is a disgrace to your team and to you for saying something such as that. Cannon County has enogh problems to work out and I beleive they will with their new coach and they dont need him to be one of the problems. So if I was their coach I would say something to the announcer before it goes any farther then what it has. Thank You

I talk to Poteete the other night, he is at MTSU getting his major, but he did tell me he was going to try to play next year for the Blue Raidiers. So good luck to him. He is a great young man and comes from a great family.

Murphy Fair is a joke he lives in Cannon County and dont even like the lions team. You really cant depend on anything he says about your team.

I would not count my chickens before they are hatched. DeKalb looks good this year, the offense and defense is playing good. Smith County went out and got them a QB from Brentwood because the coach didnt trust the one he had and it still didnt help them LA. put a Smack Down on them at home. DeKalb took there lumps for years and never went out and got any player from anywere to come play for them. They always won or lost with what they had at home. And if I was a QB at SC. waiting my turn to play then they go out and get a QB I would be really upset and come next year when the new QB leaves I would tell the coach to go find him another QB I wouldnt play. So if the coach there dont trust his team to win with what they have in Smith County, take your lumps like everyone else has coach dont try to get a kid to come play just to make you (the coach) look good.
