I have to admit - never followed Alcoa as they were never on our schedule. Is this just your “it’s us against the world - they all hate us” shtick to motivate the troops - or do you truly believe this?

It was out of concern for your obsessive behavior- So I take it the answer is yes and I’ll just move on from there.

There are several - any team on any given night. That’s what makes HS football interesting. Personal note - are you the kind of person that keys cars and slashes tires after the break up? You kind of give off that vibe.

Been to Maryville several times over the years. Always enjoyed the games. We usually just get beat by the team, not sure I can say the refs ever cost us a game at Maryville.

I agree West lost, which is why I say you can’t argue the officials screwed you. Had we paid for Alcoa to lose - we would not have settled for overtime and a 1 point loss (no moral victories here). We would have had the officials call a hold on your last td or ineligible receiver down field and you would have walked out with a loss.

Nope. Not letting that one go. I’ll ask again - if refs wanted you to lose, then how did you get out with the win? Why did they not throw a flag on your last TD? And why was the only penalty in OT thrown on the rebels?

No - I said this earlier in the post. If West is number 1 in 5A - then 5A is weak this year.

Let’s try this another way - 40% of the flags were thrown on West. And to my memory- the only hold called in OT was on West after a 5 yard run to the five. It turned second and goal at the 5 into first and goal from the 20. Can we agree there?

Are we back to this again? I thought we already agreed the refs were unbiased and did not throw flags on crucial plays? We are not going to make much progress when you keep changing your mind.

I was there - and I am not going to bite on your troll. Your band played well - and were respectful. They reflected a positive image for your school and community.

So the penalties were only called on non critical plays that did not impact the game. So again we agreed you didn’t get screwed and the officials were unbiased.

And on that we can agree.

If they wanted to cheat you - do you think they would have let your last TD stand? You don’t think they could have found one more flag when it was needed?

So we can agree that both teams had some crucial penalties at times they had to overcome. Glad we made some progress.

Ok - guess we can agree to disagree. Now that you have survived the worst possible officials that have ever existed- you can move on with your season.

Two different teams will play next year. Hope the game is as good as this year’s game was - any reason you are so salty? You know they actually have video and replay. Feel free to watch it. No one got cheated out of anything tonight.

Yeah I’m sure the guy we fired ten plus years ago has been waiting to show up at a West football game and help us out. Glad it was tonight.

Is that the IFL game next week, because in real life - they were 1 extra point in double overtime better.

Funny - it seems the pot you are trying to stir has no takers. Maybe because they watched the game and realize the officiating was fairly decent tonight. Do you actually have a team you cheer for or you just show up to troll the Rebels?

Glad Alcoa didn’t want it by more than 1 in double OT. Now we can be a super soft 5-1.

If West is #1 team in 5A - then the quality in 5A is down. Not sandbagging like we are some poor pitiful team, but we have lots of areas to improve on before I would consider this team anywhere near top tier quality. Sevier County, Halls and Farragut were all one play away from wins against West.

What armor? No one expecting West to make a run at State. Good to see Scott and the family - they are good people. Glad to get the win.

Is this game being played? West flying low this season I guess.
