I believe that CaptainGuru is an AI program that is using CoachT as a knowledge builder. I actually chuckled a couple of times last week at it. Sign of the times… @Booger, what do you think?

    without a doubt

DCA was founded in 1971, the same year that Metro decided to close two neighborhood high schools in the area. Donelson and Two Rivers, as well as Cameron and Central high schools and bus everyone to the "new" McGavock High School. DCA was formed basically for their kids to avoid the 3000 student diversity at McG.

Two Rivers Baptist, which is what I think you are referring to, was not what it later became at that time. There were a couple hundred members then in one normal sized building.  Not the couple thousand it later became in the 80s and 90s. I assume you know the Catholic Diocese in Nashville purchased their MUCH larger campus several years ago when Two RIvers Baptist disintegrated and closed. I see they are currently adding on to that campus as we speak.

While I am sure there were Baptist people involved in starting DCA, I know for a fact that there were also many other denominations in the area that were in from the start. They have advertised themselves as non-denominational from the start.

Nothing but love for ya Boogs. Just straightening it out. Now if they will just hire a coach.

Also, Playerscoach has been heavily involved there for a long time. He is a pretty reliable source on DCA.

Booger was a baptist in beginnin too...before transgenderin to present day..

...and thats some darn cool history MM76 laid out there...and no doubt the Wildcats will hire them a coach

I ain't tryin' to nitpick, but DCA is non-denominational. Always have been.

Booger can handle nitpiks of MM76....

Booger may not know for sure if the good folks of DCA are claimin that title cause the good folks of DCA acceptin all churchs on the property....to even include catholics....or if them fine folks believe that Book of scriptures is the only authority drivin the teachin without outside personal thoughts attached to it.....

.....but Booger fairly sure that place was born from the loins of the Baptist Church not to far from that present day campus....Will Free to add

    Booger just sayin

  8. did that Wade feller not put them Baptist in a couple Gold Ball contest.....to include one Gold Ball title......how did he he accomplish that at a educatin instutuion that isnt a FB factory...and without pedigree

....Booger remembers witnessin them Donelson Baptist in the 2020 or 19 gold ball contest......either NCS or USJ they thumped .......and there were HS aged kids of the male callcasion wearin Wildcat colors then in the stands

...no ID what that feller will do for BA.....but DCA as a whole may end up missin wades departure

    Booger just sayin

  9. intrestin turn of events & mind bogglin decision makin with this Bunch feller.....specially considerin on the surface of things....how that ex Sweetwater cheerleadin coach, now HS boss and her administration are rattlin the cages up there

.....that Bunch feller must really have an attraction for drama and fire.....or maybe it the NIL

probably gonna get a W or two somewhere next stint as a HC ....guessin BGA want be that spot

Good point here. I’ll add I think the AA football is different than it was when it started. Also, Knox area public schools are stronger than they used to be in football and really over all in athletics. The rise and continued success of Knox West, Powell, Bearden, Clinton, Oak Ridge, Anderson, Farragut…etc…also makes it more difficult.

In addition,Catholic is still top private football school, CAK will keep getting better, Concord will be really good really fast, Webb has a great staff, this isn’t even discussing the rest of the region that includes a hall of fame coach at Boyd etc… I think it’s the toughest A or AA region top to bottom.

Finally, the mid-state private schools are on a different level. I think it will take significant change for anyone in East to compete for a state championship.

east DA and/or DAA region not even a sniff to matchin up with south Nashville region as the toughest region.....only 2 east squads collected W's in the first round of post season....the rest were smoked by M & W region.....and the E#2 seed.... Haslam Pilot Petroleum School of Knoxville got smoked in its second round contest by the M#2

......but ETfF111 correct bout the Gold Ball havin to go thru the middle.....

One thing is certain, CJJ effect has certainly been felt on the T. I don't think there's been 19 pages of content about Bearden football combined in the last 19 years on the T until this thread. Good to see some Bearden backers out on the web for a change.

a couple percentage pts up from bout a 50 percent wins over that what been seen over last 20 or so years will bring them ole faithful Bulldog fans back out of the closet.....not to mention those new boot T posters that luv them a band wagon ride

thinkin Bearden got a bunch 3rd and 2nd place region W's in that future as long as Jones stays put....maybe 2 or 1 region titles

a very very rare 9 W season at Bearden should be cherrished

  13. Booger thinkin MaseratiRick thinkin Ensworth is somethin a bit more special than what they really are

Booger also thinkin them Church o Christers of Lipscomb gotta bought 2 or 1 more Gold Balls than Ensworth.....Booger also guessin that in the same time that Ensworth has contested opponents on the gridiron...them Church of Christers of Lipscomb have more W's....and Lipscomb beat them Tigers everytime theyve contested each other...

Booger for sure aint no Lipscomb fan...but for MaseratiRick to accuse ole TD of buyin players...which might be true....what got all them studs down to Ensworth when they collected them 4 Gold balls in a row....a team who has managed not more than a 50% W season since that last Gold Ball in 13'....

.....AAA or AA ...it dont matter....you play where you play

But yet those CCS Chargers are 5 students under the cutoff that allows them to stay in AA which is a joke but have increased their football roster by 20+ kids the last couple of years.  lol!  They play in the big boy division in all other sports, why won't they man up and move on up in Football?

thinkin student body number aint changed one number in 5 years....maybe they did grow by one ...so they 4 under now

They’re both very good men. Grace would be better with them, if they’re talking with our administration. I told all of you Grace bashers, that this administration and our Pastor are competitive and they want to WIN. We’ll see how it all plays out. Brighter Days are ahead for Grace.

it may be time to let that Karns Baptist head snake wrangler up in the pulpit just keep up with the book thumpin business and let some football folks handle that gridiron stuff....thinkin Fallwell wernt callin the football shots from the pulpit at Lynchburg...not that there is an effective workin plan at Boogers place Booger could pass along right now
