  1. AMEN!!! (lr6968)  I'm not singling Baylor out, but if everyone will look at past State Champions in class A, heck, ALL classes, you will see that it has been private schools that have won the majority.

I so wish that TSSAA would look into separating all the private schools into their own classes!  At least schools like Baylor and GPS have done so, but when you talk about others, they are in public divisions.  That's just not fair.

Take for instance my small rural school, we have about a 50 square mile radius or less to find and squeeze talent out of kids.  Not unless a parent wants to pick up and move their family to a zoned region, even if it's just across the road, they are not allowed to play a varsity sport.  Then tell me, how can you take a school and let anyone attend as long as they have the money to pay and it doesn't matter if they come from GA or where ever, they can play and be eligible!?!  Absurd!

I know that parents work very hard to send their kids to private schools..they make sacrifices to send thier children to privates.  But we all know that some of the motives of some families are to get their children to schools that have alot of talent. With public schools, especially small public schools, you NEVER know what kind of talent you are going to have!

Them private schools are sure proud of those bannres they hang up with ther schoolar shipped athletes's. even if not schoolar shipped players the D I &DII have less levels than division I to compete thur!! :popcorneater:

  2. Well Soddy and Walker Valley are the 6th and 7th place teams and that wasn't going to change.

thank you i realize that. my question is what are walker valley plans to improve their team last 3 yrs. the team has underperformed??

  3. There are a couple of Bears that do live in Chattanooga who started school at Bradley Central as freshmen. It doesn't matter where you live, it's where you started school. According to the TSSAA this is 100% legal.

Good plan recuirt em as freshman don't have to worry about TSSAA. i like that!
