Austin Morgan from our own Alcoa will be one to watch. He can push his fastball to 94 an sits 91-92. Hasn't committed yet but has multiple offers.

Baseball is a month and a half away so who are the best players East Tennessee has to offer?

Troutt is definately one to watch. The kid is special and he absolutely pours his heart into it. He has a great fastball with a ton of movement and a really nice backdoor curve. Another pitcher from Alcoa is Nathan Waters with a great variety of pitches but lacks the blazing fastball. He carries himself like a winner though. Also from Alcoa is Austin Morgan, who probably has one of the hardest fastball of any sophmore in AA, but was lost to tommy john surgery a few weeks back.

Very bad news for Alcoa as they head into the tournement as Austin Morgan(soph.) has tommy john surgery. He could have really helped Alcoa as being that extra pitcher with a blazing fastball. He wouldnt have outpitched Troutt or Waters, but having an extra pitcher with his speed could have really helped Alcoa in the long run in the district tourny.

Heard of a couple of underclassmen that could perform this year. Your guys thoughts?
